I try and console myself with the fact that appreciating the Kinks is like belonging to a very exclusive, very sophisticated, very enriching private club. I say, all the more for us!

But yeah, I really do wish more people I know appreciated them --- simply so i would have someone with whom to listen to them with. I can't name one Kinks fan I know. Thank goodness the Internet links us all up, like on here, where we can share and discuss the music of the Kinks with other fans.

@jenzeppelin I had the same feelings in san francisco in the mid 70's...I felt alone when it came to the kinks...the internet has brought us all together for sure....God save the kinks, now with Pete gone I wonder what Ray will write now? Whatever it is, it will be awesome.
