Depends upon the country, but its usually a big group you train with. After training everyone gets spread throughout the country of service. My training group had 40 people originally, but a few left early.

Depends where you will be placed. Most Peace Corp Volunteers in Moldova learn Romanian. Very few learn Russian, but there are some!
