  • Dear Vinit,

I thoroughly enjoyed your video about the Bombay Parsis.Especially the corrupted Gujerati we tend to speak. If I may comment, your description of a Zoroastrian parsi as a 'Fire and water worshipper' sounds rather like a pagan custom. If I may add, that the Fire we pray at, is a revered entity and not an object of worship. In the old days fire was used as light, it gives warmth and symbolises life etc. Therefore Fire, Earth, Water and Air be kept pure.

    Do make another video.

  • For years I have searched the philosophies and religions of the world and find them fascinating but it wasn't until I came upon the words of Zarathustra that my heart found rest and peace.

  • God bless you Parsis:)

  • @ streetwarrior31: u e absolutelty correct , all religion is designed to enslave people. It decieves the masses into producing a limited reality by programing their subconsciousness. Because the subconscious is where digital vibrational codes r decoded into physical reality the illuminati program our subconscious n then we create a reality that matches our "beliefs". Religion destroys the belief in freedom by equating freewill with the devil. Check out Rob Williams, The Psychology of Change.

  • PARSI'S WORSHIP FIRE AND WATER ???? 0:20 - 0:26

  • Muslims worship Allah the "Moon God". They claim that Allah is the one true "God". In Sumer Allah is known as Nanar and in the Semetic tounge Sin or Zeun. The 'Cresent of Islam' represents Nanar/Allah the "Moon God". The Christians worship Yhwh the "Sun God" and claim that Yahweh is the only "God". In Sumer Yahweh is known as Utu. He is represented by the Cross. In Persia nowadays Iraq, the people worship Auhara Mazada the "Fire God" and say that he is the only "God". THE REAL GOD IS ME, THE ALL

  • @Dasar7557

yes, your correct, but dont forget that later, in babylon and Egipt, Marduk or Utu and Inana or nanar or Ishtar merge and become one, the only religions NOW venerate the some god.

Zoroatrianism is the only one that stayed pure....I´m Atheist just for the record.

All religions incluing Catholicism adore Mythra desguised and thats why all the secretism with Secret Societys behind that, becouse they control evrything, included the vatican.

If you search Mythra in wiki you´ll see that

  • @Dasar7557 "And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not bow down (prostrate) to the sun nor to the moon, but only bow down (prostrate) to "Allah" Who created them, if you (really) worship Him." [Noble Quran 41:37] Also, if you are the REAL GOD, then tell me, what did I eat for breakfast this morning?

  • xsroo, it is guite possible that living in Islamic Iran, your forefathers had to give up or forget a lot of their ancient practices. However, in India, we were given full freedom so we preserved all the ancient Zoroastrian practices. Dont look down on your Parsi brethen in India - we dont look down on you - we understand the environment in Iran for the last 1000 years.

  • I am not a Pakistani, I am a Parsi Zoroastrian born in India. My forefathers came from Iran. We have followed the Zoroastrian religion for thousands of years and ever since we came to India to preserve it.

  • So how do Parsis generally feel about marrying Persian people?

Is it the religion that is causing their decline or race?

  • No Iranian Zoroastrian drinks cow Urine. I have never seen or heard of it. I am Iranian and a lot of my friends are from Zoroastrians from Yazd in Iran.

  • Lots of things are common to Hinduism ! Parsis have immense contribution in India ! Indians loves you and Indians need you , do not just fade away idiots, grow your community and religion !

  • one of the best thing my hometown Valsad did ;)

  • THEY DON't WORSHIP FIRE

    They Worship,

    AHURA MAZDA

    AKA GOD

  • Long live Iran & Indea,AriyAIranAriyA,7000+ _Down with the occupayer, terrorist, dirty isLam.

  • NO, you can spot the Parsi's by their many, many malformations and deformities especially in their noses, ears and fingers due to hundreds of years of inbreeding among themselves. It's 2010 stop with the religious discrimination or stop complaining that your dying out. It also sounds to me that Zoroastrianism had like Islam been hijacked by your contemporary priest and has been turned into a religion of discrimination.

  • although m a hindu athiest i hope zoroastrian religion sees a revivial and the great parsi people continue to enrich india just lik they promised to the great king jadi rana, evil islam forced them to leave thr beloved motherland of iran

  • @thescorpionking2010 Good Thoughts.... I m getting married to a Persian girl in US here next month and belive me these Parsi people are amazing, very kind and beautiful thoughts.

  • Rouzbeh, if you feel that Wiki is an unreliable source, then I point you to MARY BOYCE, one of the esteemed Zoroastrian scholars, who in her book "A History of Zoroastrianism: The Early Period" Which you can find on Google Books has written that in the prehistoric period of the faith, consecrated bull's urine was used.

Please do not oppose the truth any more, and do not be ashamed of what our Iranian ancestors did. We Parsis have carried on the ancient rradition - Iran has lost it.

  • @deenparast Dude as I told you before I have Zoroastrian cousins and they have never seen this ritual and never done it. They are practicing follower of Zoroastrian faith and told me this is Indian invention not a preserved ritual. It is obvious after centuries the Parsis in India has been touched with Indian culture deeply.

  • In wikibooks, please search for The_Medes_and_the_Early_Achaemenids

    This has the quotation:

"Like Hindus, the early Zoroastrians considered cows to be holy and a recipe made of cow's urine was considered to be an instant purifier which could absolve a man of any kind of sin."

  • Wiki is not a reliable source. I can go there and write the exact opposite of this right now. I am not an Indian hater actually I like many aspects of Indian culture, but I find this ritual pretty disturbing. Iranian culture and Indian culture have their connections and differences and we need to emphasize them.

  • @rouzbeh61 Forget that guy man he is probably a Pakistani and I am a Hindu I don't drink cow urine he is just making stuff up. By the way Zorostrian is a very beautiful religion.

  • John Abraham, a model/actor from India is half parsi/half malayalee

  • No offence, but there is no such a thing as drinking cow piss in Zoroastrian faith which come from Persia. Persians do not practice this thing. In mind of Persian cow piss is dirty. This should have roots in Hindu culture and apparently has transferred to Indian version of Zoroastrian faith.

  • Isn;t the Bull revered in Zoroastrain faith?

  • Actually, bull's urine or Gomez is an ancient Aryan custom. To this day the village doctors in Europe prescribe bulls urine as a remedy for ailments. The ancient Persian Zoroastrians were Aryans, so they too had this practice.

The Indian Parsis and also the Hindu Brahmins have retained the ancient practice. Our Iranian brothers should not be ashamed, they too are from the Aryans and should follow this ancient practice,

  • This is a big fat lie. This ritual is an local Indian ritual and has no roots in Indo-European or Aryan rituals. Stop saying wrong information. I have Zoroastrian cousin and they totally disagree with your idea. No Iranian Zoroastrian use this. Cow urine drinking is an Indian ritual and has no roots outside of India.

  • Obviously you hate the Indian people so there is no point in discussing with you.

We, on the other hand, love and respect sacred India, the eternal friend of Iran since ancient times.

We came to India because we knew India was the place we could fully preserve our religion, our Zoroastrian priests were alstrologers and they saw India was the most tolerant place on earth at that time of history.

  • @deenparast U are a Pakistani stop posting this garbage.

  • cant believe one of the parsi guy saying we were european community from europe.........bullshit. please wakeup or educate yourself.

  • I guess he said this since the Aryans migrated to Europe, Russia, Iran as well as North India.

  • Many of them have Iranian features and have Iranian names obviously due to not marrying into other cultures/religions. Thank you for posting. Very interesting.

  • Yes, an Afghan boy I met in a supermarket saw me and said at once you must be from Iran, This though I am a Zoroastrian Parsi and have never been to Iran. We Parsis have retained the Iranian Aryan bloodline.

  • My great respect toward all Parsees and Zoroastrians from all countries. As Armenian, though I´m Christian, I can´r forget that my ancestors were Zoroastrians so all Armenians must have the same feelings towards our "older" brothers. Regards.

  • Sir, I would just like to say that by making this video you have not only opened the eyes of other non Parsi who may be inquisitive but also have give a lot of insight to Parsee's themselves.Would love to watch a lot more of your creative videos.Thank you for posting.May Ahura Mazda be with you.Regards Ariez. Jassawala.
