got a few vids of them from the times they played a basement in toms river, nj. the 508 house. watch my profile if yer lookin to see them, I'll be rippin them in a couple weeks when my system's back up.
MOST UNDERRATED AND IGNORED BANDS of the early 90's...
they played a show at our gig / practice studio in 1993 in Victoria, BC at the Dethpit...one of my all time fave shows...
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY VIDEOS or good quality live stuff of thiers posted? i'd gladly swap other shows from our space ie: SteelPole bathtub, Milk Cult, Ed Hall, Omoide Hatoba, Don Caballero - just contact me via here!
did they ever do a video for anything of Bear Catching...????
yep. i have a video of them at the "508" in toms river. excellent quality, tripod shot from the back of the room. audio's good considering but I still have to digitize it.... it's still on 8mm. i have plenty of others from there too...
I used to know him from his Tri-Cities, WA days in the music scene before he hooked up with these guys. Googled and saw that he was producing a few other acts. He might have been in LA for awhile, too. He is amazing. He used to have a cinder block in front of the bass drum and it'd still slide all over the stage...
Let's get something off of Angel Wings on here! I used to have that cassette... mid 90s, ha! I occasionally look for their cd in used cds stores now. I used to LOVE listening to it.
it's about time someone posted a video, or even acknowledge engine for that matter. i've been waiting for someone to post a video of them for years now. you made my day for sure. if you have more post post post!!!!
fuck i love this band! when i lived in America I used to blast this album driving home late night on snowy roads... just something about it... calm? tense? i dunno...
@schleprik: And the drummer is wearing a Residents t-shirt. Would love to have seen what t-shirt the bassist was wearing.
