So those techniques the others were doing over and over again, were they like power-up things to make Justin's attack stronger? :o I don't think I'm ever going to be able to get those stats, haha. I'm in the Zil Desert right now and Justin's on level 32. And his axe level is 9 and I need it to get to 30 to learn Heaven and Earth Cut. Levelling up ahead. 8'D

@BloodRoseAngelReba WOW! increases damage and Star Symphony increases everything . Buff cap at effect level 7. Without those buff I only did about 8000 actually. Sadly, most boss are immune to the defense debuff.

People don't choose grandia 1 because it was first.

The reason they prefer grandia 1 is because grandia 1 is as twice as big as grandia 2.Also the characters are better and both games feel different and Grandia 1 story was better and more exiting.

Good ol' Grandia... I remember playing that, and grinding time and again in the Tower of Temptation to get myself seeds, and casting def-loss to groups of 8 Grandhorns and all that nice stuff. It was a pain in the neck, but I really can't play thorugh a game without maxing it as much as I can. I am, like, obsessive compulsive. So I FULLY understand why someone would do this. :)

Just one question. What abou FIRE? How the FUCK did you manage fire? Even I couldn't be arsed with the aggro spells...

How did you get them to level 99? You probably had to have spent at least a couple of years to do it. I've beaten Grandia a number of times, and I still don't know what Feena's level 99 fire magic attack is.

So, you should not play rpg games, because, for example, ¿what fun or what argument would be in a saga like final fantay, if the entire game (around 14-15 titles) was played with the 4 guys of the first FF?. It's the same for all the games; and, that's better, because it creates the possibility of new worlds, new people, new secrets, etc. Play Grandia 2, that game is a piece of art.

haha i know have you ever done the tower of temptation? theres lot of scary monsters there and i mean there scary by the thought of the spells they can use likke these flying brains can use ba-boom which kill your parrty in 1 hit but they drop mage seeds and str seeds which are very nice ;) tower temptation is a good place to train magic but risky lol just replying.

I bought + played grandia in 2000,when it was brand new. i played it through "only" 2 times, but intense!, the 2.nd time max'ing every ability, especially getting that feena ultimate spell(just stops time- not that great). to max ur exp was hard, i used enemies who created 3-4 lesser enemies every 2nd turn while fighting em. i really LOVED some of the locations: ghost mansion!, the flying dutchman, the jungle at the end of the world, the sandbank...

Soundtrack is fantastic as well. The graphics can be a bit rough at times. but remember the game origionally came out a couple years before the american release on PS1 which was 1999.

@gunrix I felt that Grandia 2 and 3 did have a good story. 3 didn't give me as much of a connection to the characters as 2, but I definitely felt emotions between all the different characters in 2. I'll be getting Grandia 1 eventually here, possibly pretty soon and I"ll make a judgement there, but Grandia 2 was damn good, can't imagine 1 being THAT much more superior but we'll see.

I think Grandia 2 did a good job with character development. A longer adventure is nice, but then again, would I have beaten Grandia 2 all the way through 4 times if it was 60 hours? lol
