Why is everyone pissed off about Cole dying. Personally I liked the ending. You have to remember that this game is based off Noir Films, which most of them are not so happy when it comes to the ending. This isn't a Disney Movie. A happy ending wouldn't really fit with this game.

i feel robbed, i just finished the game (didnt watch dsp's playthrough) and i felt robbed with the ending, it left the story open. I didnt mind Cole dieing so much, but the end, wtf, it just left it so open. If they plan to make a 2nd game to this, atleast make it obvious. I only played 2 DLC's but from what i can tell they are only apart of the middle stories. Idk .... The ending left a bad taste in my mouth, i was waiting for after the credits to erase that, and it didnt.

When i was playing this game at the end it seemed to quick to me and it was hard to Understand what was going on. All i got was Cole Died, Jack Kelso was nobody apparently...Elsa's Weird. I was actually more disappointed that you couldn't investigate Elizabeth Short, but even that would be too gruesome and over the top. Glad she at least had a cameo though! I was actually hoping for more involvement in the mob part of the game with Mickey.

I have heard a lot of negative feedback on this. It's cause all these people play is CoD and they aren't used to a change I bet. I myself thought it was outstanding, but in the last couple of parts, Phil really didn't give a fuck about what he was doing and was screwing around instead of taking it seriously. The ending truly was sad, but that's Rockstar. At the same time, if Cole were to live, his life would be at its lowest, as he lost not only all respect, but also his job.
