@lololod1 It's a GREAT machine. That said, my wife really prefers the inside setup of Sub-Zero. But I can tell you that Viking makes a fantastic refrigerator. We have a 48-inch Viking range in our home right now here in NH.
I have the exact same refrigerator shown in this video, and it has been the absolute worst decision for my family. Although it is expensive and nice looking, it's needed numerous repairs, some not covered by the warranty. It takes a week or more for the repairmen to show up when a problem arises, and they usually cancel the day they're supposed to arrive. Their service is incredibly insufficient and incredibly unreliable. I DO NOT recommend a viking fridge for anyone seeking a working product.
I'm a Service Tech for Viking. This fridge is actually more efficient than a lot of small top mount freezer models. It has a variable speed DC compressor that speeds up when needed, and slows down when demand for cooling is low. Ironically, the fridge belonging to "tohellwithyoursouls" is actually the "gas guzzler".
my parents should have done this when my brothers and I were in the house. Feeding three 6'1+ teenage guys took up a lot of space. Great looking Kitchen Tim, I really like the alarm system if the door is left slightly open
Thanks for your comment. I went to your channel and you are invisible. You seem to have a passion about the planet and its welfare. Instead of making comments on other videos, have you thought about making your own videos that express your feelings and thoughts? Remember a picture is worth a thousand words - a video 100,000. We anxiously await to learn who you are and more of your beliefs via videos you take the time to create yourself.
Wow what a great fridge imagine what the world would be like if everyone on the planet had one. Talk about Americans taking more than their fair share of the worlds resources this type of lifestyle is climate change in action. Gandhi said something like the world can support everyone's need but not everyone's greed. Cars are great modes of transport & symbols of our freedom but if everyone had one they'd be WMD. Not to mention gas guzzling SUV's. Have you considered downsizing?
This is the most ugly kitchen I have ever seen dark wood with a huge brush steel box jutting out, no wonder your kids are monsters they have too much food readily available in that catering size cold room of a fridge.
Thanks for your cheery comment. I'd hate to see what you might write if you watched a video and were in a bad mood. The saying over here in the colonies is that if you can't say something nice, then consider keeping your mouth zipped. :->
The kitchen is beautiful! Making personal insults and calling other people's children monsters just shows how much of a miserable person you are filled with hate. Maybe you should spend less time trying to make others as miserable as you, because you seem to be failing at it terribly!
Thanks for your comment. When you have a large family, you need room to keep things cold. One problem with fresh is that it requires many more frequent trips to the store. The energy spent doing that might be far less than the extra energy used by the larger machine. In a year it will make no difference as I will be going off the grid using a microhydro generator.
I have a different opinion on that awayalwayz. I've noticed that bigger units are often more efficent. last year I got a 15,000 BTU air conditioner to replace an older less powerful one and It uses less energy. High value products have more room for effecency and improvements that extend the life of the product.
Only around 6% of the energy in gas is used to move a car. Heat pumps on the other hand are very efficient. I'd go with AsktheBuilder on the car trip point.
I am thinking of buying a viking now. How has it performed for you and how long have you had it. I am not seeing great reviews. Any problems?

Big refridgerator = bad for the enviroment. tell your son to eat fresh and you wont need such a big fridge.

Thanks for the vid! Cool logic for the extreme enviro guy too! You def. have to do a vid about the microhydro generator!

Wow. That's a really great refrigerator with some neat features. I want one of these in my kitchen! Great video!

We love it. Since there is no freezer, the produce stays really fresh for many days.

Nice design, but I think I would miss my water and ice in the door.

Yes, those are great features. My wife didn't want them. :-/
