  • I like using knitted erasers, but this is interesting.

  • Never knew there was a electric Erase; at all wow

  • Thank you so much for doing this comparo. Standard rubbers have been driving me, as a dedicated pencil artist doing fine pencil work, out of my mind. There are some things that mouldable rubbers just can't do, and I've always felt that a rubber should be as easy and accurate to use as a pencil. Thanks also for the tip about sharpening the rubber to a point. Picking out highlights in eyes and similar tasks is suddenly easy peasy, as is highlighting hair, a time-consuming task with block rubbers.

  • thank yhu darrel. i just ordered one

  • This is great!

I never study art or anything like that but i really like to draw and having someone that shares this information it's really helpful!

    Thanks. Really thanks!

  • Really incredible set of videos. I can't express enough how helpful these reviews are. Thanks so much!

  • Thanks for the video. I think i might buy the staedtler battery power cordless and the staedtler 52700.

Great video. It helped me greatly.

  • I just bought an electric eraser from Daiso...not too much, just $1.50 for the machine and the refills. It actually is REALLY good! When I saw this video I was thinking "Compared to my eraser...it's so small!!!" , but I don't invest that much money into an eraser. I am very satisfied with my eraser!! The refills are a great buy and they come with a storage case. But it will not fit the other standard American kinds, just the Japanese kind!

  • wow the kohinoor 1200 sounds like silenced p90 from mw2.

  • What a very informative and intelligent review. Bravo!

The situation with discontinued machines and for me, eraser sticks is a huge problem. I have a Sovereign 77 that is working very well but I'm on my last eraser. Of course the stick that I've been using - Eberhard Faber No. 75 (Green) - has been discontinued. Is there a replacement that you might recommend that would fit my machine?

    Thanks

  • hey! thanks for the video I really like it!

im a boy from chile in south america, im 16 yeras old and I like drawing. but here in chile there isn´t many materials availables in shops, so if could tell me where in internet I can find this electric eraser, im interest in sakura one :)

    thaks

  • you forgot to put the link at the end of the vid =D

  • thanks for this info I was just about to get one I have the small helix but the eraser is just to darn small . on the staedtler battery you showed a stiffer eraser did you try the stiffer eraser in the staedtler battery operated one and will it fit . it seems to be the erasers that are the probably being to soft

  • Umm what are rpm's?...

  • @antcobra Revolutions per minute, how fast it spins

  • Darryl you were a week late putting this out in email.... I just bought a Staedler 527-01 (used) on ebay for $19 and was so excited to see it as the first one tested.... until I continued to watch. As for the eraser slipping out when sharpening, have you thought of using a shim to tighten the eraser some, such as a small piece of sandpaper OR even just some paper to increase the diameter slightly which should help hold the eraser.

    Cliff

  • You are using big electric erasers, and I have to say, I don't even like their design. I use my small Sakura electric eraser for many years and its totally awesome. I guess, that was the one you showed couple seconds before the end.
