i have a 69 firebird and i has chevy 2000 s10 rear disc brakes, i bought the greg weld 15x10. 5.5 bs l and they wont clear the calipers..it sucks cause i really like those rims, the 15x3 1/2 fronst clear fine...but it has stock calippers...
True, but after talking to Greg Weld, they have confirmed this is a problem and are re-designing the wheel to clear the brakes without grinding. I am skeptical to not having to grind at all, but even if i have to shave a little off, it won't bother me at all. I think they said another 30 days for the 15x8 and 15x10 to be re-released.
I ordered 15x8 and they have not come in yet. I will post another video with all of them on the car when i get the rears. They should be coming in anytime now...
what website did you order them from?? im looking into getting either 15x3.5 fronts or 15x5 fronts for my nova if they are available. what size are the ones in the vid? if you could post a direct link to the site id appreciate it.
sound of the brakes. The wheel does not hit the stock brakes at all. In that video, the car was in storage, so the rotors had a little bit of surface rust on them. I also did not have the lug nuts at the time, so i could not tighten them down. I have since received the lugs and they fit perfect without hitting a thing.

The 15x8 wont fit. I ordered some and you have to take the back brakes completely off to even get them on.

damn that sucks... i ordered the same rims for my mustang. they will most likely do that too but i'll slap a spacer on there :)
