You need to upgrade your Action Replay (type in Google: pokemon white/black action replay firmware download)

read the text (for help) or watch the video. Scroll down and you see the item that is shown on the video(it contains the new firmware) , save it on your computer (must be your desktop) and if you drag it to your Action Replay Code Manager. But if you see the video you know how it works

for the rare candy code, give it to a pokemon then take it out. hope that helps. extremely slow process tho, but if you don't want to all out cheat with the (x) exp then this'll work well.

@blazebomb55 you don't input the game IDs anywhere. to input AR codes first (this will save you ALOT of time) select the code you want, highlight it, copy it, then open your emulator (if u are using Desmume) Go to>Emulation>Cheats>List> then press Action Replay and paste your code. Don't use more than 3 or 4 codes, they can crash your game!

@dracoman91 it says it fades, but it's a code for infinite candies, so they always stay at 999. To actually use the rare candies, first you must give the pokemon you want to lvl up a rare candy. (dont feed it, just give it to them to hold) then take away the rare candy, and only then can you use a rare candy on that pokemon. but you have to do this every time you want to feed a rare candy to a pokemon. T_T takes too much time. :(

@piakchu1 (L+R) use the Master Ball to get what pokemon u want (according to the pokedex) and use the ultra ball to the level u want, then hold select to find ur pokemon

@DavidTrungLy Hey, I'm having trouble with my AR the version that i have is 1.02 i put all codes in correctly (got codes straight from the AR program on pc) and once i try to boot it either freezes with 1 ID in. but when i put a diff ID in it will start, turn white, then freeze. i also found that you need version 1.25? to work?? I'd appreciate the help.

Hey, I cant seem to get the hang of putting cheats in. I just got the english patched game into my r4 and I cant seem to get my cheats to work. I'm using cheat editor and wood root 1.12. Is there a specific file i'm suposed to put the cheats in? Because I do get the"usrcheats" file saved onto the main page bu the cheats dont work. I also dont have a "_system_" file. Could that be it?

If you are using DeSmuME (obviously) put the folder you have the emulator in AWAY FROM DESKTOP... important info (harddrive, main files, etc). I put the folder in the hard drive and the codes work perfectly!!

Problems with my Action Replay.

My Codes work on the Manager & all that is fine, the action replay reads the game as “Pokemon White”(J). I click on the codes I want to run and press “START” to play. It goes to the white boot up screen & freezes there and wont load the game.

Yes, my AR has the (J) codes & Game ID for the (J) version.

I don’t think it’s my AR because it works fine for my Soul Silver (US) & Heart Gold (J)
