My grandma's house was flooded, but we cleaned it out and they are getting ready to fix it back up. Chow's ended up with water about a foot deep in their gym. I read about on the nbc olympics site. They had pictures. So whoever told you Chow's didn't get flooded was wrong. Shawn had to train at the ISU campus until it was time to leave for trials on Monday.

I have no promblem with going out with friends and having a good time. Come on how stupid do have to be to be sneaking into bars and having your picture taking while drinking with the mens team, while under contract with a tour sponsered by the disney company.
The infomation wasn't suppose to be public, it got leaked out. As far as the tour website goes, it not kept up to date. They have Bridget and Sam on their and their only one or two shows. Alicia did a couple of shows and she isn't on the roster.

She said that she won't be competing the 2009 season. She took this semester off of school for the tour and she wants to get caught back up by January that way she can still graduate on time. She is planning on still training, but will not be partaking in competition next year. She will still be continuing her career though.

Sam Pesek drives a bmw, and has a lake front house, and goes to privite school . Shayla is keeping her NCAA opitions open. It's against NCAA rules for any athlethe to accept money for there sport. I think some of them do. Nastia has a 'Montage of the month' on her MySpace, so obviously she comes on here and picks out montages of herself to put on her MySpace, so she probably reads the comments. and I've seen a few people commenting videos and replying to people who are bashing the gymnast saying stuff like "Stop saying stuff like that about me", so I'm guessing some of them do! I've always kind of wondered that myself. That would be funny if Shawn came on to watch montages of herself.
I don't think that any gymnst has a youtube profile. it would be cool if they did. How cool would it be if they left replays to the crative people who make these videos. It's going to be werid next year when the fans turn on there tv's to watch a competion and gymnast there use to seeing won't be there. I think most fans think that most of the national team gymnast will retire after the games. I hate to see them go, but it's there life.

So maybe that person doesn't actually know Shawn at all then. I would believe anything unless you can confirm the info yourself. I know that Shawn went to prom recently, they showed a picture during nationals, but just because she went to prom with someone doesn't mean they're dating either.

The infomation wasn't suppose to be public, it got leaked out. As far as the tour website goes, it not kept up to date. They have Bridget and Sam on their and their only one or two shows. Alicia did a couple of shows and she isn't on the roster.
Anyhow i found out Shayla was fired for underage drinking. What makes me kind of mad. I actually liked her. I thought she was one the good ones.

They were part of the show at one point and time which is why their bios are still on their. Alicia did all the east coast shows, and sam and bridget did a few at the beginning, but didn't want to miss too much school according to the usa-gymastics site. I am just happy that I will hopefully be able to see shawn and the hamm twins. I was way sad when they both had to withdraw from the men's team.

Yea it was a bad deal that Hamn twins couldn't make it to the olympics. I sure they would have help the team out.
I'm not a big fan of Nastia or Shawn, but i do wish them well in whatever their furture holds for them. Like i said before kids from her school don't like her attitude.

She said that she won't be competing the 2009 season. She took this semester off of school for the tour and she wants to get caught back up by January that way she can still graduate on time. She is planning on still training, but will not be partaking in competition next year. She will still be continuing her career though.

I found that girl she didn't find me. All she said was that she lives in the same neighborhood as Shawn and goes to her school. She didn't say they were friends. I ask her if she was friends with shawn she never wrote me back. If she was lying about the gym she might lying about Shawn. I think her prom date was just some radom guy she happen to know. Yeah, just like Carly Patterson. It's like she was only in the sport to get famous and win a huge medal so she could be known and have fans when she starts her 'singing' career. Sorry, I'm just not the biggest fan of Carly. I'm glad Shawn's not taking the same path and will most likely stick with the sport after the Olympics.

ugh, exactly. Carly is just turning into one of those super preppy 'celebrities' who changes their hair-do and hair color everytime she makes a public appearance, and that includes going to the grocery store. Shawn IS smart and really sweet and modest, everything Carly seems not to be. I love how in that one interview with Carly and Nastia the year after the Olympics, the interviewer person says that Nastia's the new big thing, and Carly was last years, and Carly's face just DROPPED! Hilarious.

I heard she whats to go back to college, or she wants to go into acting. Her agent said she wants to try to compete till the 2012 games. he doesn't want her to sell out like carly did after 2004. I can't belive how much money Nastia makes a year. I read she makes 7 figures a year. That's more than some NFL and MLB players. Damm girl.

I think as far as money goes, i think the rest of the national team does ok. I know Shawn Johnson has to have some money too her name. She drives a 90,000 dollar land rover. Sam Pesek drives a bmw, and has a lake front house, and goes to privite school . Shayla is keeping her NCAA opitions open. It's against NCAA rules for any athlethe to accept money for there sport. That incudles expetditon shows, photo shoots, and commericals. That's why Nastia and Shawn can't compete for the NCAA

Shayla used to be a child model for Disney. That was her in those GK ads; she just didn't get money for them. People are already saying that Shayla is going to be the next Courtney Kupets. Sam still has her NCAA eligibity. Nastia and Shawn would have been amazing in the NCAA. Too bad they both are SELLOUTS, and went pro. Shawn went and hired a sleazy agent, and changed into someone people don't like. I used to be a big Shawn fan, now I wish she would just go away, and take Alicia with her.

i agree with you that they couldve been great in NCAA. but i dont think its fair to call them sellouts. nastia doesnt seem to love gymnastics anymore, so she probably wouldnt have wanted to do NCAA anyway. and shawn lives in a little town in Iowa, i doubt her parents have that much money, and since gymnastics is such an expensive sport, she should try to make some of that money back. and lastly, i dont know what you mean by "take alicia with her". why dont you like Alicia Sacromone?

I shouldn't have brought Alicia up in the first place. The reason i don't like her, i heard a bunch of things about her,that turn me off to her. more than likely there just rumors and lies. Nastia explain in a video why she acts that way during competion. She there to compete not be social. Shawn has not changed at all. If you watch interviews with her, she is so humble. It's amazing the way she carries herself and she's only 16. She doesn't rub her talent in anyone's face and she trains a lot less than they do. Also, I read an article about how most top gymnast hire agents, she isn't the only one who has one. It's insane how judgemental you are being on a 16 year-old. Maybe you should do more research on the girl. Because apparently you don't know the whole "Shawn Johnson story."

Shawn's car was donated to her by a Des Moines dealership. If they hadn't given it to her, she wouldn't be driving a vehicle like that. Also, I think the NCAA rule only applies when you're enrolled in college.

Who cares? Maybe at the time of the interview she didn't have one. Or she doesn't have a boyfriend and the person was wrong. It could be a boy who's a friend. It's no one's business if she has one or not. Even if she was lying, I don't think lying about having a bf is the crisis situation you're making it out to be. That doesn't mean that she's going to lie about other things. She is a very humble, normal 16 year-old girl in my perspective.

I happen to catch a video of Shawn at Chelisa Piers in New York. I quess she was doing a thing for the Today show. anyhow a bystander was taping Shawn, and i don't think Shawn knew it. shawn was smilling and signing autographs for a bunch of little girls. You tell how excited those girls were to meet her. I don't if was an act or she really is that geniue of a person. Thats why i made a big deal about her lying, she a rolemodel to those little kids.

I have no idea. Since I live in Iowa, I searched for Shawn Johnson's within a 100 miles from my zipcode since I live less than a 100 miles away from her. One is set to private from what I remember, but I think they are all posers. She has an official site, she doesn't need a myspace.

I been getting it from everything from wanting to know you the guy is, to people telling me to buttout. I don't who the guy, nor do i care. The point i was trying to make is she lied about it. I think some of them do. Nastia has a 'Montage of the month' on her MySpace, so obviously she comes on here and picks out montages of herself to put on her MySpace, so she probably reads the comments. and I've seen a few people commenting videos and replying to people who are bashing the gymnast saying stuff like "Stop saying stuff like that about me", so I'm guessing some of them do! I've always kind of wondered that myself. That would be funny if Shawn came on to watch montages of herself.

I'm from America, in fact i only live like four hours from Shawn. I'm not jealous, i don't want to be a gymnst. Sure i will admit that i wish my life turned out better than it has,but i don't want Shawn life. I quess i'm just woried about her, i don't her to crash and burn.
