For more than 30 years Frank Sinatra was my number one singer in the world. I guess because to me his music was more accessible. Now, for the last 3 years i got Tony Bennett's music more freely. Tony has become my number one now, equal with Frank Sinatra. Because i have Tony's songs i don't abandon Frank like many others are doing. It is because i have felt their music in my heart in different era's, that's why i do not make an exchange but compare and find both soothing to my soul.

when i first heard this song it was the summer of 1954 and i was in my car driving down steinway street in astoria, tony bennetts home town. i was only 18 at the time and between having my own car and tony singing this great new song i felt like i was on top of the world. thanks tony for your great music.
