I just Loved this song. Use to sing this all the time (out of tune of course). Use to play this and many other songs on my Dad's Juke Box. God I miss the 50's. I hope this songs last for ever.
@hetty255 Agree ROGHARM tony appeared on the CBS RADIO NETWORK radio show THE WOOLWORTH HOUR when radio networks had live music and singing. rated highest 11+. love this record!!!!!!!! Tony is great singing in the operatic minor key.
I wandered through London's Covent Garden recently and competent singers abound sang notes and reached for the scales but none sang with a feeling and expression that makes this one a great. Floated moments in just the right places and a wonderful performance,. Thanks dude for posting this. :))
For more than 30 years Frank Sinatra was my number one singer in the world. I guess because to me his music was more accessible. Now, for the last 3 years i got Tony Bennett's music more freely. Tony has become my number one now, equal with Frank Sinatra. Because i have Tony's songs i don't abandon Frank like many others are doing. It is because i have felt their music in my heart in different era's, that's why i do not make an exchange but compare and find both soothing to my soul.
@georgiansolitaire - It's wonderful videos such as yours which remind us that, in spite of all the man-made and natural tragedies around us, there is still beauty in the world and much to be grateful for. Thank you for posting this superb effort of Mr. Bennett and making my day. Greetings from London, Canada.

Przepiękna piosenka! Miałem taką sytuację w Cambridge, że kiedy filmowałem uliczny grajek zaczął ją intonować. Na prawdę świetny film na ulicy Trinity:)

I had never heard this song until my grandpa passed away and it was chosen to be played at his funeral today. Now I cannot stop listening to it and thinking how fitting it was that it was one of my Grandpa's favorite songs.... :( Will always miss you Grandpa. Love you forever xx
There are two kinds of music, this and the stuff they write nowadays which should be called crap. Obviously you have a sense of taste for the beautiful music, there`s lots of it about.
Brilliant song, absolutely lovely. I'm 16 so you can imagine my friends like to joke about my taste in music, but I think it's great. Wonderfully sung by Tony Bennett.
I'm just 20 yrs old and discovered Tonny from this song... when I first listened to Stranger In Paradise in the local radio, I thought: "what a WONDERFULL piece of music"

The great Russian composer Borodin, and the songwriters Wright/Forrest meet the wonder that is Tony Bennett, possibly the best-loved singer in the world...the result is thrillingly romantic.
My father was strucked as if by lightning (the first time he listened to the also beautiful lyrics in Spanish) and got fascinated by them, whenever my mum used to sing to him, "Extraños en el Paraíso", with the most beautiful "soprano lirica" pitch of voice she had!!! Most beautiful version by Tony, indeed!! Thank you dear Phil!
thanks for posting...love this song
