Oddly enough, they only say that the statistical analysis used in the report aren't made up. What they also say, is that their is a disturbing problem with the lack of raw data provided and the lack of data sets given over for independent review (undermining the scientific process by restricting replication). I'm still not sold

Amusing. I personally am NOT an environmentalist. I AM for protecting national parks so that people can enjoy them. Plenty of chemicals such as DDT, mercury, BPA, and many others are harmful to human health, but end up in people's bodies because of widespread use, often because they end up in the environment, and then people eat contaminated food or breathe polluted air. It has happened in the past and will continue to happen unless all new chemicals are tested BEFORE being approved for use, not after.

I once went to Earth Day in Los Angeles in 1991 and the biggest booth there was one promoting Marxism and communism and it was plastered with images of Che Guevara. I realized the environmental movement was just a communist movement in disguise. I never went to another Earth Day because in reality its a communist rally.

@orkid682 Being a skeptic, I went ahead and read the 9 page report by the International Panel setup by the University of East Anglia to examine the Climate Research Unit. Oddly enough, they only say that the statistical analysis used in the report aren't made up. What they also say, is that their is a disturbing problem with the lack of raw data provided and the lack of data sets given over for independent review (undermining the scientific process by restricting replication). I'm still not sold

The other side is arguing and started fighting stating global warming is more of a natural occurrence. There may even be federal charges as the investigation continues. Amusing. I personally am NOT an environmentalist. I AM for protecting national parks so that people can enjoy them. I love the outdoors; hunting, fishing, hiking, and anything that gets me out in the woods. But I don't buy in to all this nonsense about global warming and climate change. Why? Rather than rely on alarmists to inform me, I look at the science.
That said, the some people are just not good public speakers. Those that stumbled a bit should not be discounted as fools just for that.

P&T didn't at all address the impact of pesticides and other chemicals on human health. Plenty of chemicals such as DDT, mercury, BPA, and many others are harmful to human health, but end up in people's bodies because of widespread use, often because they end up in the environment, and then people eat contaminated food or breathe polluted air. It has happened in the past and will continue to happen unless all new chemicals are tested BEFORE being approved for use, not after.
