Walkera 36 Hover Training powered by car battery

You sir, are mental! I guess with an 80Ah battery, you'd have at least four hours worth of flight time!!

How long did you run it for continuously, then??

Brushed motor lasted half an hour then fried!

wieght of heavy cables made it tricky to hover. well when you only have one 1200mah lipo you need to improvise....... LOL

yes it was a week old here ended up with 3 walkera 36s over 18 months. all crashed now. I now fly trex 450 clones...

i realise my head speed was too low looking back at this old video....

@mikehoppett Why the "Trex 450 Clones" is it better then the "Walkera 36"? Can you tell me what the difference is between them? Please.

@TheDreamCar A 450 clone can be build from kit for £80 all inc.. and is bigger/ Faster and a better design than the 36...altho my first RTF 36 was £80 delivered with TX ... so a good starter package... ;-)

Man, that's a lot of amps pumping into that little motor! Your lucky the whole thing didn't go up in flames.

Amps don't get pumped, that's volts... Amps are drawn and so no extra amps.... Very long flight times for sure though....

surley its not powerful enough to lift a car battery off the groud??

The heavy cable connected to a huge 80 amphour battery made it a little tricky but its grounded till i gets me new hot motor!
