@SuperDonster Yep, I owe you. God used you to alert me to the parallel in Psalm 18, and I'll never be the same again. So He also has some kind of reward which you will get when we're both in heaven. Good thing, because all the money on earth isn't enough to thank you for this.
Rightly so, brainouty, -- context, context and context, repeat: Context, context and context! Why don't people read context and search for a theme? Of course his own wanted to stone him, that's already told through the prophets, as Isaiah 52 & 53. Context! Even Muslims corrupted the law of stoning, as only the woman is stoned.
@chanses2 Well, I can empathize with that, because frankly when we read Bible in translation, we're reading too FAST. Bible text is repetitive, is not meant to be read as a novel. The reader is quickly lost. You could take John 8 and scramble the verse order, and it would still read the same. But would NOT be the same, until you know WHY the verses are in that order. Same for any other chapter in Bible.
We're not reading SLOWLY enough. So our eyes glaze over.
@brainouty I recall from early days, way back in the 80's - the context was important, as the theme, too, in Bible school, as some really searched for the spiritual meaning in what Christ told us, and connected the red dots throughout the many books..... Yes, Christ is everywhere, as everything was created through the word Christ, everything in the scripture is inspired to tell just that--that Christ is everything's origin, and Christ name is really glorified throughout all the books.
@brainouty Reply 2 of 2, the fact that the adulteress was brought before Christ is very important from a spiritual stand point, and that is how we shall think, just as Him, to be able to stand above and judge fairly, to be perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect, because that was what Christ was, perfect in His thinking, and it was the way Christ thought that made him without sin, as His Father had/has his abode in Him, in the devine unity of fulfilling law, prophecy and salvation.
hey brainy :-)) i am so glad you made this video, such a good study! I have sent you something in private so when you have time and at your convenience of course. Nice to "see" you :-)
@solarisgalrocks Nice to see you also! And feel free to post whatever you like IN PUBLIC, as that way people can see the debaters, and think for themselves. Bible is meant to be debated, and since people pay such little attention to it, since so few teach anything it really says, it should be discussed, as there is a lot of misinformation out there.
That's why my videos are boring, focusing only on THE TEXT. So you can see why I say what I say.
@brainouty - thanks a lot. I love deciphering bible texts as well - I believe there's a lot of prophecy in them. I believe the bible is inspired by God but that the more you research it, the more understanding you'll get out of it. It gets to the level of personal advice and hearing God's voice.
Hey, I got a shout out! ahhhhhh yeeeeaaahhhhh! lol
Thanks for your help and that document you attached to your 3a LXX video was excellent!
Have a great day and God bless

Context! Even "teachers" miss this completely.
