Nope. I have played Touhou and Lunatic and this on Ultra. Mushihimesama is much more harder. I can get to stage 5 in IN and stage 4 in PCB. But yet I die before second boss ( once I got to that boss ) of Mushihimesama.

Phantasm is basically just remixed PCB extra. It is easy after you clear extra, which you have to do to unlock it.

I am now proficient in Touhou Lunatic. I have beat Phantasm and I have almost 1cc'd all Touhou games in Hard.

Mushi is HARDER

However, both are very different! Touhou is more about memorization, and Mushi is more about raw skill. Very different methods of gameplay. Therefore, it is reasonable for a Mushi gamer to find Touhou difficult, and likewise a Touhou gamer to find Mushi difficult as well.

@Guesswork01 As long you remember where your hitbox is, which in this game is INSANELY small (the golden bracelet on Reco's arm) you'll manage. It really helps when fighting Aki (final boss), and dealing with bullet curtains where the only gaps are like a millionth of a pixel big... XD

Worth noting that this is Ultra Mode. Original mode is reasonable, you'll have a bit of a tough job doing maniac... but the final boss make Ultra pretty much impossible to 1CC.

It seems more based on timing and memorization then anything. I could probably get close to doing this since I beat Ikaruga without getting hit, but chances are it would rape me. The speed is a step up in certain points. The boss would be the easiest point for me.

The purple bullets kill, and the purple ones with dark center have a smaller hitbox than the regular ones. The player's hitbox is the pixel at the center of the blue circle (might be hard to see with this quality).

So, all you have to do to survive the last boss is dodge bullets for a few minutes, right? No shooting?

Kind of. When his 'shield' is up (he puts it up after you die, or when you use a bomb) and you fire at him, he retaliates with a very fast and ridiculous pattern that goes with the pattern he's already doing, making it that much more impossible to dodge. However, ceasing to fire for about 5 or so seconds makes his shield diminish, and he won't retaliate with a second pattern when you fire. Of course, you have to dodge the initial pattern for 5 seconds. Bombing it to clear it is not encouraged.
