  • the audio comes out of my laptop i want the audio come out out the controller but the controller has no RCA out what di i do

  • @DJessej1 the sound will come out only through your laptop,,

if you want to come out through rca cable you need "3.5mm to rca" cable. then left for left deck and right for right deck>>>> its MONO sound

If you want stereo you need 2 sound card and 2 "3.5mm to rca" cables.

  • @prashantxvx sounds about right

  • Can the Numack NDX400 connected to this Numack total control as a mixer aswell.

    Thanks

  • will it work with fl studio

  • I got this as my early christmas Present, you can buy it on Ebay for 30$ Plus Traktor LE.

  • Can you make dubstep with this? Im really interested in making my own dubstep, and I'm trying to find out what equipment to use..I have absolutely no knowledge abou dj-ing equipment. So good starting products would be nice...pretty much all I know is thy you need a software.

  • @Joobalooboo it is more like a controller for what you have already made, to make dub step you need a midi controller.

  • @Joobalooboo To actually make dubstep, you'll need music production software, MIDI controllers, and synthesizers.

  • Is it imperative to have the dj io to operate the total control? or can I just use the controller alone?

  • @MasterL3131 no you can use it alone and play thru your pc speakers..but in order to hook up to an amp/speaker setup or preview tracks w/headphones you'll need the io or any other usb external sound card/audio interface

  • @MasterL3131 you can use it without dj io.... this controller let you control the software instead of using "the mouse and keyboard"

additional sound card is for headphone... you can use other sound card..

iam using "Creative USB Sound Blaster sb1140" its a pendrive size and cheaper

  • i want this for christmaaas aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah <3

  • and use traktor software its much better

  • i would like this if it had audio outs.

  • IM - SELLINNG - MY - NUMARK - TOTALL - CONTROLL - WIITTTTTHHH - DJIO - MIC - CABLES - CUE/TRAKTOR SOFTWARE - BRANDNEW PRETY MUCH. I UPGRADED TO AN NS7........... HMU 150$!!!!!

  • IM - SELLINNG - MY - NUMARK - TOTALL - CONTROLL - WIITTTTTHHH - DJIO - MIC - CABLES - CUE/TRAKTOR SOFTWARE - BRANDNEW PRETY MUCH. I UPGRADED TO AN NS7........... HMU 150$!!!!!!

  • i mix with this on video and music!!! some of u may talk shit on this, but i love it!! if u cant mix with this easy mini... u should not be djing!!!!!! MOFO

  • What connectors does it have on it... RCA, 1/4" , speakon?

  • @Colaabear it is just a controller, it doesn't have any audio outs

  • I use the numark total control... it is excellent value for money and easy to learn on. get the software TRAKTOR to go with it and you can pull off club worthy mixes or even remix songs. Please take the time to view one of my remixes watch?v=aAhGh6FVovo

  • This controller is underrated. maybe not be the most quality piece of gear, but it gets the job done with traktor pro!

  • Do you know if it will work with Mixxx software? Thanks

  • how much was that mah dude

  • Buying it pretty soon cant wait ...=)

  • woww.. this is great... how much does it cost?

  • @djmagtv hey man whats the track in the right deck :D ???

  • hy!>>>youtube>>dj egy napra<<<<<View!his dj!!!!debonair

  • you think this is a kids toy ? i'ts fucking nice and small and really cool, i don't hae anny problems with this controler, i play house and stuffs like that and when i'm playing house and stuffs like that i use this controller i don't need the piooners at that time, so you are a kids toy

  • this is a kids toy

  • Can you work on mp3 music or wma on this miche ?

  • can i use virtual dj with numark total control

  • @Suaveondo thats what he's using..

  • virtual dj program you use :)) :)) XD

  • for new djs i would recomend this, because its very simple to use.

  • this version came with the controller? with this version you can put effects such as flanger and filters? sorry for the language and I hope your answer, thank you very much

  • I can't control the cue software with my total controller.. :S

  • What is the name of the song hes playing? :P

  • Can you set buttons on the controller to play samples/soundbites etc

  • i want this controller !!!!!! :D

  • gotta say, that console looks like a toy

  • do you need amplifier in total control for set up?

  • is this good beginner equipment?

  • always this electro music. why is there no hardstyle or rock music?

  • @Psych93 cuz u dont mix rock?.. and electro is more popular than hardstyle :o

  • Does function available in this controller?

  • Numark DJ IO is all you need. No need for a board.

  • first track ? name ?

  • American Audio Vms4 is soo much better !

Look up the specs on google

  • The Behringer BCD3000 is really awesome compared to this, you can bring the behringer into a club or rave but this thing isn't the most pro thing to bring, and the behringer is a very good price and it's got an effects section, and it also comes with Traktor, a more professional dj software than cue so you can hop from it to the pro stuff quicker without having to re-learn software

It's also got a soundcard in it so you can cue your tracks in headphones and plug your stereo directly into it.

  • @cprime123 you can take the BCD3000 to a club? yeah if you want to get laughed and hated on!

  • @SpectralUnderground -------________---------

  • @cprime123 this one has effects too..

  • @cprime123 hahahahahahahahahaha!!!! whats wrong with you? this shit KILLLSSS the BCD...u obviously have never touched one!!

  • @slinkytx1 the BCD has a soundcard built in, and is made to look like a normal piece of studio equipment, it's made to be a professional midi controller for djs who use real gear like vinyl or cds to have on the side incase they want to play some random tracks from the laptop. I've used both and I find the bcd to be all around better. this Total Control is not made to be used in a studio, and it looks a lot like a toy. Most real performing djs are not so caught up on what gear you use, onlymusic

  • @cprime123 Yeah man!

  • @cprime123 Or you can test Traktor S4, it's FCK awesome!

  • If you're really new, like I'am,start with Virtual DJ...the program is great.check it out...allof my mixes on my channel are made using it

  • has anyone seen the Ion Audio one? and Iif any input, could you please tell me......Im liking this Numark one and believe it can due more, but the Ion Audio is $200 less......... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bocanegra, you read my mind. I want it too for Christmas. Is the all in one most economic gear around and for $100.00 is a steal.

  • Am i able to hook up turntables and this controller mixer together?

  • @djdLane You can use timecoded vinyls with Cue (same software as virtual dj but under the numark name) then you can get the feel an all the flexibility of turntables + all the convenience of computer djing and use this controller as your mixer, but you will need a sound card with 4 inputs and good drivers. Hope this helps!

  • @JonathanBCormier you cant use timecode without an analogue mixer.....

  • @psyconall Yes you can. What I do is I connect my turntables to my M-audio Quatro (4 ins- 4 outs) usb sound card. I use the 4 inputs to send the timecode signal from my turntables to my laptop and I use outputs 1 and 2 for the main left and right channels and 3 and 4 for the PFL. Any sound card that has at least 4 ins and 4 outs and low latency drivers will do the job. Hope that helps!

  • @djdLane its a midi controller rather than an analogue mixer, it has no sound inputs/outputs

  • @djdLane There is a tutorial on how to do this look for " TIME CODED VINYL WITH VIRTUAL DJ & THE HERCULES RMX " on youtube, this guy uses a midicontroller with a built in sound card but you can use a seperate sound card and the total control (thats what I do).

  • I want this for christmas. it will be my first time getting this stuff. ive always wanted to DJ, so ill start here =]

  • @BocanegraAlX i just bought one a week ago, with the Tractor software this thing is a total blast!! soooo fun!!

  • @BocanegraAlX hahahaha me too :D

  • @BocanegraAlX Get the stealth control

  • @BocanegraAlX good choose, i have it now for like 3 weeks and its awesome, i made some great mixes for soundcloud and my last live one is being hyped at my school, its awesome. you just have a good quality/price product.

  • @BocanegraAlX me too

  • to anyone having an issue with the one sound card and no heaphone capability, usb stick sound cards are cheap, buy one, use the numark tc through your pc sound card and hook your headphones up to the usb portable sound card you just bought, theyre like 20buks in new zealand so they should be cheap as fuck in bigger parts of the world. problem solved.

  • What up DJ Mag!! Im a huge fan of your youtube channel and i love your whole style of mixing, and i was wondering can you make me a sound drop saying "It's DJ C-Side" thanks!

  • how much does it cost ?

  • can any one please help me? Im already panicking with my numark total control because the left deck is acting crazy with both Virtual Dj and Traktor Scratch Pro. Cue, Set Cue, Play, Bass Kill, and loop out of the left deck are acting crazy.

  • Can anyone please tell me the diference between the stealth control and the total control...which one is better?

  • @mastergabo15 I also am wondering about the similaritys between them

  • if you're not a superstar DJ (like most of us) and you are just looking for a way to maximize efficiency at a reasonable cost while providing seamless transitions, easily searchable files that can be organized by BPM, artists name and/or track title... this is the way to go.

  • @DJHandlon i really need a recommendation about DJ Controller for begginer to start w/ reasonable-middle price, maybe could you help me with some of my question? :) what is Bad and good about this product actually?? and what controller that works good for both begginer and advanced?? thx before Dude,,

  • @cureboyz i recommend the Behringer BCD3000 it's awesome

  • @DJHandlon exactly! :D

  • @DJHandlon exactly!

  • can you use headphones on this to mix tracks?

  • Comment removed

  • i thought the Total Control used Traktor software

  • @wingasp511 Total control does use tracktor. Hes using virtual Dj 6. the trackor that comes with this controller isnt pretty at all

  • Can this be used with ableton live?

  • Not bad of a unit for 100 bucks:)

  • i have a question ?? does it work with another sofware like virtual dj ??

  • @Rubicelize

yes !! it works also with traktor !! but not every version

  • Im buying this just to test out and experiment with what i can do for like a hobby kind of thing, nothing special, if im good and enjoy it enough then ill look it some more expensive equipment

  • Whats the song on the right table? @2:58

  • what happens if i dont buy a soundcard with this... can i not just plug it into my laptop and then use my speakers which r plugged into my laptop to hear it? Is a osundcard necessary, because i dont inted to dj at partys or that... just for fun

  • @DjHodgeTV You wont be able to split channels, so you can't hear one track on your Headphone and another on your speakers.

  • @espen199 ya u can if you have traktor pro

  • @pphatmat You will still need an additional audio card, or ASIO4ALL, but this tents to fail.

  • @espen199 get djio thats what i got. i got all my dj stuff for only 130. Including traktor pro, djio, total control and some other stuff

  • @espen199 In that case you must buy Numark Omni Control. It's just a little more expensive than total control and it comes with RCA connections to monitor and master.

  • can i use it with windows7 64 bit???

    please told meeeee :(

  • @voskospedo yes it does

  • @maros5 man i want to connect my dj set [ numark i battle pack2 ] can i use that sound card and connect them?? or is only for the total control??

  • @voskospedo what kind of soundcard is that? Because theres no soundcard that comes with total control. You either need to buy a new usb soundcard that you connect to your computer or you can use your pc soundcard, but I would do that, cause usually notebook and pc basic soundcards have crappy sound.

  • @maros5 yeap i know.. my problem is that my mixer [ numark dm 950 ] didnt works on virtual dj :/ my turntables works perfect ..

  • @voskospedo I have vista 64 bits and it works fine (bits are no problem). But i recommend you visit the company website to look for information about Windows 7 64 bits.

  • Arse, no inbuilt soundcard...

  • i dont recomend buying this its too small and it does not bring the numark cue le no more ,

  • @sertx420x too small for whatt? its not like your supposed to be scratching with it lol

  • @psyconall : Im a classic Hiphop Deejay.. I would definatly want to be scratching

  • @Loadfaster yeah....then you get something else, conterollers with small jogwheels are not meant for scratching, just for tempo bending and seeking through a track.

  • @psyconall you can scratch with it

  • @pphatmat I have an Numark Omnicontrol (and total control works the same way) and i can do some scratching with the jogs in scratch mode (i use Virtual Dj and Traktor LE), but it is not fully like a real turntable. Anyway, it works good for me because i mix trance music with not too much scratching. If you wat to mix styes like rap, hip hop, dubstep or something like that, i think you will meed a real turntable.

  • @nelsonstevenson yeah lol i dont have enough money yet.

  • @nelsonstevenson or get the Vestax VCI-100 or VCI-300 which has very nice jog wheels that can be used for scratching :)

  • @pphatmat technically, yeah but not well

  • que serie es el mixer me gusta x liviano saben en donde la puedo conseguir en usa?

  • @diegoTCK lo puedes consegir en bestbuy!!

  • @JAngel95 thanks bro,,,,

  • Could somebody please tell me if Total Control works on 64-bit Windows 7?

  • Yeah it works on 64 bit w7. The controller is not the problem, you have to make sure you install the right software for sound card. I'm sure it comes with the product new, otherwise you can download it off the website.

  • @c32linder Thanks man. Well even on the Numark Website it says for vista and xp only. But i just ordered it and I'm hopeful ittl work. Plus theres no drivers for it on the site!

  • how much is this

  • @giovax666 $300 at Best Buy

  • Respond to this video...

  • Respond to this video... It's only $100 buck buy now on ebay! $300 would be ridiculous for this unit! A Vestax Typhoon u can get for $249 on Ebay which is alot better unit than this

  • @giovax666 MORE LIKE 100 BUCK ON EBAY LOL

  • hey does any one how i can record my mixing/scratching reply plz

  • Virtual DJ has a recording function built into the software. Also Audacity has a function that records whatever sounds are coming out of the speakers but I think it compromises on quality somewhat.

  • why your total control shows a red and blue light in the scratch wheels? mine doesnt show any ligth.... could be the model???

  • @POWERMACKS no, the red/blue around the jog wheels are from the faceplate

  • @DJtheory28ok ok thanks bro

  • Is there anyone on this planet who uses the Total Control with the pitchfaders? Because I already understand that if you press fuckin sync everything works great.... But what if you want to put effort in mixes?

  • haha u fukt up at 2:28

  • do you need a soundcard for this ?

  • @vigu008 yes, there isnt any built-in soundcard

  • does it have an internal soundcard? so i can hear which track is playing on the "non selected" channel via my headphones?

  • @Curry4King Needs an external sound card/audio interface.

    See VxXGHOST's response.

  • the cool this about this is if u buy it, it comes with the head phone, soft ware, and IO for the audio

  • @TheDJHERO1000 buy traktor scratch as your dj software, though some people might disagree . it was rated the best dj software as of 2010 via dj mag, several leading djs were the judges.

  • Looking to buy the NS7 call 305-626-8600 or check out wordupdj.com

  • ok noob here. What's a good program for actually composing your own music?

  • @DerdleDoo fl studio

  • @DerdleDoo I use VDJ6 for "chop&screw" without the hardware...

    It works well...

  • @DerdleDoo I use FL Studio 9. Others are Reason, Cubase, and lots more. It all depends on your preferences.

  • Not only do you get to know the product, but you get to listen to a badass mix!!

    great video! haha

  • can u hook it up with a behringer xenyx x1204 mixer? to use the effects of the behringer?

  • Can U Help Me. I got Everything But The Probmlem is That It wont Start. It Says :cANT FIND CONTROLLER. PLEASE CONNECT CONTROLLER AND START CUE AGIAN. Its Connected but i dont know why it wont start. PLEASE HELP

  • so...say i have the laptop, i have the controller...what else do i need?

  • @DoddBeats u need the sound card for ur headphones if u want, nd the software cue le.

  • what dj software dose it come with???virtual dj??????

  • @ugagraffstoresd You get Traktor LE and Numark CUE which is basically virtua DJ specially modified for this controller

  • how do u go into scratch mode?

  • @MinionOfJustice theres a button tha gives the scatch and pitch option

  • Can you use tracks from your itunes library for this piece of device?

  • @alexmejia26, yeah u just drag any songs from ur itunes or whatever onto each of the decks

  • these do work on a mac right? just need mac software right?

  • this is better then spending a 1000 bucks !!! and then having to vinyls

  • I just picked one up, works good with Algoriddim Deejay for MAC, the superior OSX

just got to re-map a couple FX, works great.

  • exelente video muy buen producto

  • hey I'm a newbie with dj but has a lot of knowledge in it but wonder if I should choose Numark Omni Control or if I should choose Reloop Digital jockey2? As my first dj set? It would help me much if I would hear what you think!

  • Reloop Digital jockey 2...

  • i hate your videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @MyMcMichael

well common sense would dictate that you not watch them.

  • if you hate those i meen his videos so why you watch them for?

  • if u didn't noticed it yet, the numark total control is not a mixer! it's CONTROLLER, for software mixers like Traktor, Virtual DJ ect. With a good software and powerful DJ it could sound like Richie Hawtin's alien & heat xone 3d with both 1d on sides. Only price balance is 1/15 or so ;)

  • man I hate these so called mixers!! these are jokes!!

WTF IS this!? looks like a TOY!! I would be embarrassed to show up to a club with this!!

  • it´s still the best numark mixer...

  • @m33lad its not a mixer its a midi controler and ill have you know that i brought 1 to a club at the wknd and the place was pumping, by the way you use amercan audio cd players haha wat a joke !!!!

  • @egore07

Am not even a DJ and I knew that, I don't know why people call it a MIXER. I mean are people to dumb to see that it's call a MIDI controler! And I agree w/ you about american aduio, it has shit quality sound. I love Numark!
