The music makes the video. I especially love how the record player gets stuck on the same track at the end....very effective. Love the sound effects the guy makes throughout his struggle. Very clever!!
Watch my film. It's based on the short story, "Where are you going, where have you been?" by Joyce Carol Oates. It's the first video response. Thanks much.
Love how the story flows... Very clever how you have set the scene up to get more catistrophic as it goes on. I applaud the editing, comic timing, and story telling..
everything he does is so illogical. just like all the other comic greats. well done. very funny. dont listen to skonieczna, hes fulla crap. its as original as it is funny
Funny, good speed and good handling of the recording. However the idea of hiding/denouncing stains is quite exploited. I've seen similar scene in many comedies (although I cannot recall the names now).
great! i laughed first at the stain by the socket, then again racously at the rug over the wall with the masking tape. the actor was brilliant. thanks!
loved your great blend of light and dark.very good bordering on very fine--if you had a budget and a soundstage you could do wonders. film sense is near perfect....bravo.
well done, that was really entertaining. Those who enjoyed this might appreciate a film I made entirely on my own, including camera setup and acting. Filmed it in one night on my own. Just type in 'andrew merlino' in the youtube search and go to the first video called "Safe House". and I'd love to hear what people think of it, so spare 5 minutes and watch it. Thanks!!
No payoff at the end???

Slightly Woody Allen-esque in nature. Especially the music.

That wasn't just wine stains... this is why wall to wall carpets are a big no-no for aspiring serial killers :)
