@wojciech94 yeah, but when you get windows, you get wordpad, notepad, windows movie maker, a bunch of nifty little games like spider soliatare and minesweeper which are actually tons of fun, voice recorder, iso burner, windows mobility centre, etc. not to mention system restore kicks time machine's ass.

Wordpad- in OS X you get the same thing.

The same for voice recorder, or iso burner. It's all in the OS, Mac can even mount iso images, I haven't played those little games, but I trust you it's fun :P

If it comes to windows mobility center - what is that for? We can do those things in iTunes (with iPhone/iPod of course) in one app, why have 2 apps where you can do it in one? I think time machine is a bit different, and Mac doesn't need restore system, as it hardly ever crashes ;)

@wojciech94 windows 7 barely ever crashes, but its nice to be able to restore it in the case that it does. and i listed all of those apps in order to say that everything you get prepackaged in mac, you get also in windows, and then some.

and the reason it's better to have two apps instead of one is because (ill put this in terms of the iphone and ipod) a phone and an mp3 player are very different things, that you might want to have different data on. you dont prepare your oranges with a toaster.

@gitghetto Well, I'm not sure if Windows Movie Maker can compete with iMovie.. Than you get iDVD, iWeb, iPhoto, GarageBand, which you don't get on windows preinstalled.

Maybe you are right about phones and mp3 players, but remember, that Apple has their own 'phylosophy', that everything from apple works great together. And that's the thing. iPhone/iPod works perfect with Mac and its software. I can't imagine using other mp3 player than iPod ;) I guess everyone likes something else, right? :)

@wojciech94 the thing about iDVD, iWeb, and iPhoto, is that theyre all useless. Ive never used them seriously before, because there are far better free apps on the internet available for download. garageband is the one thing that you don't get with windows, but its a pretty fail app anyway. and yes, WMM can compete with iMovie easily.

also, iphone/ipod don't work perfect with mac because mac software limits you insanely on what you can do. you cant even get your music off your ipod with itunes.

As I said months ago, Apple Computer's stock is currently in distress, so they put up this arrogrant ad to hide the fact that the Mac is just a PC.
