  • I really like the statement "staying one lesson ahead of their students" that can be very true of the industry.

  • SHAWN!! YOU REALLY KNOW YOUR SHIT!!! LOVE IT AND THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR HARD WORK AND KNOWLEDGE!!

sorry, but i thought that needed to be shouted. :-)

  • In my opinion Shawn is the best pole dancing instructor in Los Angeles. She's incredibly sexy, she's got moves that are absolutely mesmerizing and she's completely willing to share them with you. Her program changed my body from the inside out, I got stronger from my core and learned the key points of safety to protect myself from injury. I recommend her technique to anyone.

  • A year and a half after starting my pole dance school in Seattle, I took two teacher training workshops with Urban Furtility Dancer. Their training advanced my teaching skills (safety, technique, true stripper style exotic and sensual moves) by miles. My classes have dramatically improved and my students tell me regularly how much they appreciate me including the safety and progression methods.

  • Hey Shawn

Well done on highlighting how important safety is and the need and responsibility as an instructor to break down a movement into bite sized pieces that are achievable for the student whilst at the same time building strength and endurance.

By the way - you look hot!!!

    Love from down under

  • I agree and subscribe to everything you have stated. You articulate yourselve(s) with expertise and I applaud you for pointing out (with dignity) errors that most studios are making especially, in keeping 1 lesson ahead of their students. Studios need to embrace the larger picture of pole dancing that incorporates safety, effective teaching methods, authentic 'exotic dancing' techniques, and conditioning of the muscles to prevent injury and promote muscle memory! Bravo to you and your studio!

  • way to go ladies!!! fantastic job on educating people about how physically demanding it actually is and how it's a serious ART and DANCE form; loved yannori's comment on "running to the pole" hilarious......and sadly true

  • Proud to know these ladies and if you truly want to "learn this art", this is where you want to go!

Absolutely the best and lots of fun balances the hard work!

  • way to go ladies!!!! great stuff and the dancing in the background.......flawless :0
