@ebglider91 no no no numbers mean shit....Helmand Province was occupied by british and aussie soldiers....FIRED UPON EVERYDAY FOR 210 DAYS !!!!!! yanks occupy kandahar.....Minimal firefights for about as long before they moved out to assist the british and at which point the ADF withdrew. Before the yanks too the ADF position the death count was 3000+....in a minimal firefight area...

Not really true, I've worked with the United States Military, creating war scenarios with the Marines, and I've met an Australian Military Commander training US Marines, I've also seen Brits, so that should tell you that the US Goverment values Australian warfare. On a side note, the thing I can't comprehend is why they didn't hire Afghan fighters fighting against the Taliban, in my opinion, they're experience is also very valuable

As soon as you are rank and trade qualified and airn compliant you can be deployed.Basically this means as soon as you have completed iets,and are medically fit,pass your shoots,and your fitness test you can be deployed.Their isnt actually a time limit.
