I wrote a nice klezmer tune and it certainly didn't sound anything like that.

Well... Dick Dale was a pioneer, blending mid-east and klezmer melodies with surf-rock. I really dig the idea, but, man... you HAVE TO WORK HARD ON THE TONE. The rendition's okay, but it sounds as played through a can.
