I loved Pippi Longstocking as a kid. I have not seen it since 89' but I have recently seen a few scenes. unfortunatly I did not get to finish it. We were at a hotel about to leave. I had that song stuck in my head since I last watched it.
John Candy probably would not have done Heavyweights, he hated fat jokes and being fat and people acknowledging that he was fat at all. (Shawn said that he thought that he would in another video.)
I haven't seen Harry and the Hendersons in probably 12 years now but the last time I saw it, I did cry at the end. My mother did too, as I recall lol.
Harry and the Henderson's is a great movie. I cried at the end too. And there is nothing wrong with Pipi Longstocking. I loved that movie except the annoying music in it. She used to be one of my favorite characters of a girl getting into mischief. One of the movies you forgot to mention is Benji. I missed that movie since I was a kid so I went out to buy the movie collection $5.00 bin at Walmart and I watched it at home "For the love of Benji" and I was like this is boring. The storyline sucked
I thought the ending of Harry and the Hendersons is supposed to be happy? Harry was reunited with his family and returned to the forest, that's not too sad. Great vid tho. You're awesome Shawn!
I love your choices! The Peanut Butter Solution is one of my favorites too! I'm a woman of 23 years and one of my all time favorites was " My Little Pony the movie"(1986) ...also The Goonies.
Thankyou for your collection. It makes it easier to pick out movies to watch for myself and my family. Note- to all those commented on his weight -Get a life!. Stop judging/critising people to make yourselves feel better.
the only pippy longstocking movie i ever liked...or for that matter have ever seen was an animated movie...havent seen it in years. but i do love heavyweights!!
@FORD5000solo2001 i disagree. im a movie collector as well. so this guy collects alot of things......dont judge him for it. how do you know that he has no contact with actual people? just because he has alot of stuff and is overweight, that makes it all compensation for lack of anything else?? dont make judgements about things you dont know anything about.
hell yeah, for the longest time I could not remember the name of that movie Shipwrecked, awesome movie, thats why I love watching these collection videos
@KodaKumi101 lol who would like a bitch like you ? seriously telling someone who's just trying to help that he's "fattest man,,want another cream cake" whats wrong with you ?? do you love yourself that much to insult other people , are you sick ? thank god i don't know you GET A FREAKIN LIFE !
and FYI good body doesn't last forever people will laugh at you when you get fatter and can't get enough from cream cakes
p.s:i'm not fat ^^ and even if i am there's nothing wrong with that
okay im fat so ?? life isn't about the looks don't you know that , didn't your mother teach you that ! or yeah i forgot with that kind of additude i don't think you'll ever learn something good :D !! i feel sorry for the people around you
a kids movie i always loved was winnie the poos grand adventure. it came out in 1997 and my mum bought it for me on video and for some reason i liked it.
Another problem with secret of Nihm is it's hard to find a set that has both of them. The made one seqeul that was ver poorlyy based on the first book seqeul. Rasco and the rats of nihm. Originally Timmy was supposed to journey to Thorn Valley with a rat called Rasco. Unfortunately they couldn't out how to bring him in because he's the son of Jenner his origon got drastically altered for the movie. The whole murdering Nicodemou and duel was add. I don't know what they were thinking with that.
The secert of nihm is a great film once your get old enough to watch it with out having nightmares. Some parts mayy scare you if you try to watch them unsurprevised if your under the age of maybe 11 or 12 when you first saw it. All dogs go to heaven was even worse.
I liked pippy longstocking a little bit growing up. Of course I was like 4 to 12 when I last saw it. I belive what I saw was a remake of one of the older versions. It was animated and was done like 1990 style like how they did the First Tom and Jerry movie. Which for some reason there very first movie they did in the early 1980s were they had voices and acutally talked got docked on in later years. Like Nastlgia Critic I think did a harsh review on it way back in like 2006 or something.
i really want to see the 1987 hansel and gretel !! please can upload them on here i cant find it anywhere for my region and its nowhere on the internet.. would be a great help if u uploaded itt :) pleasee
It seems as if no one remembers that Peanut Butter Solution existed. A lot of the other film critics that I discuss films with always comment that they thought Peanut Butter Solution was some kind of weird dream they had as kids.
Yes we've all ready the Wikipedia page, don't sell yourself as knowledgeable. Whatever the controversy surrounding their invention (LEGO is a registered trademark so the invention of the bricks is irrelevant here), it is called LEGO in both the singular and plural everywhere except North America.
Thank you for this video. Could you tell me more animal videos like this BINGO :p ? Like what was this videos name where the black guy understands the talk of the animal?
I'm not sure if anyone has told you already but the Japanese Milo and Otis goes by the name "The adventures of Chatran". It does exist on DVD and for fairly cheap on ebay. You can only order it from Thailand, thus making it a region 3 DVD (I found one regionless one with PAL play back). I've bought many Asian DVDs from Thailand and Hong Kong and I've never had a problem (with recieving it, subtitles, etc). So, if you want to check it out, look it up on ebay and you will find a pretty sweet deal.
Maybe you could do 'Disaster Movies', 'cause here in the UK they had a countdown of them on TV and the winner was Die Hard, which isn't even a disaster movie. I know you're not into mainstream stuff, but maybe you could talk about lesser known or forgotten disaster films like Day of the Triffids. Just a thought.
In Midnight Maddness; you forgot to mention that Pee-Wee Herman is in it. And the guy who does the voice of Mandark from Dexter's Lab. And the guy who does Piglett from Whinny The Pooh is in it as well.
Actually is was a Direct to Video movie, later aired on Disney channel...but I am in no way knocking the second movie,Very well made, made lots of dough, but if 2 and 3 were on a tbale,I am watching 3 first!!!

Midnight Madness ! Fantastic movie ! I would really love to hear what you think of The Pirate Movie. That movie is such an 80's flashback for me. Check it out if you have'nt seen it.
i concur! apocalyptic end-of the-world type of movies rule!!! If you dont know of any maybe you could start watching them? it would be awesome if u did a video for it!
Peanut buter Solution is a great movie. And BTW one of Michael J Fox's first movies was Class of 1984 wich in my opinion is one of the greatest 80's movies ever made.
rock demers the one who directed peanut butter solution also did a the stamp traveller you should also check out (i know that because i live in the city where
Oh yes, I forgot one other family movie that I have on DVD and that is the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz movie starring Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale.
I've got at least family movies on DVD as well (and both of them have legendary actor Dick Van Dyke in them). The Dick Van Dyke movies that I have are Mary Poppins (with Julie Andrews) and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (with Sally Ann Howes). I also have Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on VHS as well.

Midnight Madness ! Fantastic movie ! I would really love to hear what you think of The Pirate Movie. That movie is such an 80's flashback for me. Check it out if you have'nt seen it.

Peanut buter Solution is a great movie. And BTW one of Michael J Fox's first movies was Class of 1984 wich in my opinion is one of the greatest 80's movies ever made.
