I feel like one of the best parts about this AMV (besides the masterful editing and the creativity and all the other obvious stuff that should go without saying) is the fact that a good 24 different anime were used to create this, and you can barely even tell. Hell, Kara no Kyoukai is one of my favorites, and I didn't even realize it was used in this until I looked at the credits (although, now that I know, I have an inkling as to where/ how it was used...)

I've gone through every single frame seeing how they stitched the images together and which ones where and it really is just...so amazing, so much ingenuity, besides just being ABLE to flawlessly put them together, but the mind it must have taken to figure out what scenes to use to create whole new ones...and the attention to detail in even editing small things, not just putting images in new places but changing a frown to a smile or adding a tear. the timing, pace of the story, story itself...

plus, its not really an FMA vid, anyone trying to understand it as that, its an AU vid that uses FMA to tell a new story. two brothers, their father walks out, their mother dies, they are attacked by a gang, meanwhile in the hospital they both go to heaven and (Ed) sees his younger brother get 'taken' i.e. die, but he survives and goes back to the world. he lost an arm though in the attack, so overcome by grief he burns him home, leaves his childhood friend, joins the military (con.)

The last scene you can take as you will.

I really liked it but I still don't get why does Ed ALWAYS have to be the main character. I mean, why does Alphonse have to live under his shadow? (I know he isn't that charismatic but whoever made FMA could have given him at least SOME attention or more spotlight moments.)
