  • she looks soooo much like Sibyl Shepard in "The Last Picture Show" (btw great movie), which, if i am not mistaken, Williams dida bunch of songs for

  • Great music

  • This is real country music at it's best. Hank sr. is still the king.

    CARL

  • Say what you will, but I liked Miss Audrey. Her looks, AND her singing!

  • Audrey was such a prettty lady.

  • like!

  • This is truly country music. The stuff people listen to today and call "country music" can kiss my ass. LIKE if you agree!

  • @SnowBlindDeth

No shit. This is top shelf all the way. Hank was the best of the best.

  • Arthur Alexander does it slightly better, IMHTGO.

  • My turntable's not dead! I get vinyl where I can. More places than not, especially the net and cheap.

  • God, Miss Audrey was beautiful!

  • I would like to hear the Gene Autry original. This was one of his best songs IMO. A top 5 hit for Gene in '44.

  • That's REAL country music. What passes for C&M today is so far away from real country. We all love Hank and his music - BUT he wouldn't hardly even be considered as an "artist" today. In fact, many of his country singing peers are rarely "played" today. Also, except for some nostalgia shows, it is extremely rare to hear a Hank Williams song played today.

  • there aint no other sound better then hearing a steel guitar cry

  • when you heart needs to be cryin it's to the hank sr. songs...a la a byin.

  • Amazing.......I can't think of anything else to say about it but that.

  • I love the record scratch sounds.

  • Who's the girl with Hank on the album cover. Was that his wife Audrey that he wrote Cold Cold Heart for? Gene Autry dueted with Smiley Burnette on this in one of his later movies. This is a song that can best be appreciated while you're sitting in a bar and telling the bartender one more round as you put another quarter in the jukebox. Apparently this song was taken from Hank's radio show, judging by his comments to the band or audience. The sponsor was a baking flour.

  • @TheFrontrowkid yeah it's audrey williams..

  • @TheFrontrowkid Yep....that's Audrey.....the biggest "non-secret" in the music business is "Ms Audrey" and the way she did Hank.

  • @TheFrontrowkid - yepp its audrey

  • I love that you didn't clean up the record scratches. I miss those. Everything has already been said about loving Hank Williams.

  • There is no one that can even come close to Hank Williams sr. As far as a good country song goes.

  • @MegaTravis9 Really any genre, he's also in the rock n roll hall of fame

  • Took me awhile in my life to find this music. Sure glad I did. Good stuff!

  • thats tha good stuff.

  • hank one of the best

  • my childhodd idle cause of my daddy! love u hank!

  • Hank was, and always will be, the best country singer/songwriter there ever was!
