  • That's pretty awesome but y"all need to talk less and play more. Wooo!

  • thank you for posting this..it is really appreciated... and Thank you to the tea party for doing what they did !!!

  • shit you got this awesome

  • I miss The Tea Party!!!

  • the begining is a part of "grand bazaar" or "the bazaar" (the same song bug on different album)

  • Thank you!!!

  • 6:40..........Iran has those!

  • i listen to tons of eastern tunes. these dudes have learned well!

  • Is there an instrument they can't play...gosh...I admire those guys so much!!

  • @cassidymav Z Your Dick :p

  • what year is this?

  • 1996 at a guess I remember the EP "Alhambra" had a video similar

  • This is the Alhambra video.

  • this is really awesome! thanks for posting

  • That aetheral instrument Jeff Talks about is very similar to a Persian instrument called the Santoor. The Santoor has a less metalic more xylaphone sound to it but essentiall played the same way with the two hand sticks tapping the strings.

  • magici...orientali....

  • they should try getting back to this stye again, seems the most quality sound along with that voice seems ripe for the US

  • I wish they could but they broke up in 2005...check out Jeff Martin's new band THE ARMADA.....the band sounds like TEOT and Transmission eras combined with a bit of the Triptych era in there.

  • this is sick

  • soo awesome...

  • lol you can tell jeff burrows almost has no idea what hes talking about like he had to remember last minute research

  • Now I really want a hurdy-gurdy.

  • someone tab that harp guitar riff for guitar, i need to learn that. sounded amazing

  • I agree with Valentin80 - completely - well - they are one of the most important anyways - their message cuts right through the layers of accumulated BULLSHIT

  • Please reunite Tea Party!

  • Damn, that harp guitar kicks ass. Must be worth alot.

  • ffffffffffffffffffuck yea. sick ass

  • It will take some time to people to understand that The Tea Party was the most important band from the 90's. I hope they will reunite in the future.

  • jeff has made a new band called the armada and they should be getting together soon

  • @valentin80 Your wish has been granted. They're back, in case you haven't heard.

  • @veedub87 Oh, no...does this mean I have to do all those charitable things I promised to do if this day ever came?

  • That harp guitar part should have been made into a song!

  • I miss these guys so damn much. Three of the most talented musicians ever! I loooove that little demonstration JM does on the harp guitar!

  • Yes, it's from the Alhambra CD. I don't have any suggestions for WinXP. I believe Windows 95 or 98 will play the multimedia.

I use a Mac. Best bet is to find a friend with a Mac, and have them copy the multimedia files off the Alhambra CD and give them to you.

  • Wow... Even in my wildest dream i wouldn't think that instruments like this exist

  • Thank you so much for posting this :)

  • Best band ever. I was lucky enough to get to see them play several times. The best though, was when they played at a small bar in my hometown in 1995 on the Edges of Twilight tour. My friend and I managed to sneak upstairs where they were going to play. A few minutes later, all three of them walked out and began to do their sound check. So basically the two of us had our own private Tea Party concert. We got autographs and lots of awesome memories. R.I.P. Tea Party!!!

  • hes so good at sarod

  • Most of them are cool instruments. the instrument where Jeff spins the crank totally tripped my mind and loved how he rocked out on that Turkish Guitar.

  • Thanks for posting, great explinations and examples of their style and talents, as well as the intruments.

  • super sweet............TTP were/are truly one of the greatest Canadian bands........not the most succesfull.........but to my ears they're the best............

  • I dont care how succesful or unsucessful they are/were. They are (in my opinion) the best band in canada, america.....the whole fucking planet. SAdly......ive only been to one of their concerts.

  • Awesome stuff! I long for the old Tea Party days!

  • thanks very much for uploading this vid, as a big an loyal TP fan, all I can say is this guys have done such an interesting and great music they are miles away from regular music. Peace.

  • WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!

  • Thankyou so much for posting this! My Alhambra CD ROM never worked on any computer I tried so this is actually the first time I've seen this! Now this is a big thing for a Tea Party fan! Please don't ever take it down.

  • Those are amazing instruments (and musicians too!) Fascinating!

  • BTW - Could you upload the one of them all playing drums from Alhambra?

  • I'll get around to it soon... I couldn't fit it in this clip because it would have put it over the 10 minute limit.

  • WOW I haven't seen this in years. My Alhambra CD was too scratched to play in my computer (probably from over use!)

  • excelent display of the talent those guys have

  • No problem! Enjoy!

  • Fantastic!!! Thanks for upload :)
