That aetheral instrument Jeff Talks about is very similar to a Persian instrument called the Santoor. The Santoor has a less metalic more xylaphone sound to it but essentiall played the same way with the two hand sticks tapping the strings.
I wish they could but they broke up in 2005...check out Jeff Martin's new band THE ARMADA.....the band sounds like TEOT and Transmission eras combined with a bit of the Triptych era in there.
I agree with Valentin80 - completely - well - they are one of the most important anyways - their message cuts right through the layers of accumulated BULLSHIT
Best band ever. I was lucky enough to get to see them play several times. The best though, was when they played at a small bar in my hometown in 1995 on the Edges of Twilight tour. My friend and I managed to sneak upstairs where they were going to play. A few minutes later, all three of them walked out and began to do their sound check. So basically the two of us had our own private Tea Party concert. We got autographs and lots of awesome memories. R.I.P. Tea Party!!!
Most of them are cool instruments. the instrument where Jeff spins the crank totally tripped my mind and loved how he rocked out on that Turkish Guitar.
super sweet............TTP were/are truly one of the greatest Canadian bands........not the most succesfull.........but to my ears they're the best............
I dont care how succesful or unsucessful they are/were. They are (in my opinion) the best band in canada, america.....the whole fucking planet. SAdly......ive only been to one of their concerts.
thanks very much for uploading this vid, as a big an loyal TP fan, all I can say is this guys have done such an interesting and great music they are miles away from regular music. Peace.
Thankyou so much for posting this! My Alhambra CD ROM never worked on any computer I tried so this is actually the first time I've seen this! Now this is a big thing for a Tea Party fan! Please don't ever take it down.

It will take some time to people to understand that The Tea Party was the most important band from the 90's. I hope they will reunite in the future.

Yes, it's from the Alhambra CD. I don't have any suggestions for WinXP. I believe Windows 95 or 98 will play the multimedia.
I use a Mac. Best bet is to find a friend with a Mac, and have them copy the multimedia files off the Alhambra CD and give them to you.

I'll get around to it soon... I couldn't fit it in this clip because it would have put it over the 10 minute limit.
