at one time he trained very seriously in western boxing (in his youth)... wanted to fight professionally ... dad was having none of that. he has incredible timing and an uncanny ability to unbalance people

Truly exceptionally skilled man. He's very small, even by Japanese standards. I still have visions of him dropping a 280+ pound Francis Takahashi like a brick.
