  • great chassis veronica

looking forward to the competition with the dinner-for-two with you draw soon

  • Cool.

  • You know, not to many people look good in green (except on St. Pats Day, Hic!), but you pull it off well! And Macs, who gives a s#it, these guys are so smart they don't need tips, just reality.

  • yea get a pc,stop giving mac power

    MACS ARE FOR FAGOTS

  • You are poor and have penis envy.

  • ok, heres a tip, get a fuckin PC

you don't need all that shit, just move your mouse over it and wait half a second

  • or you just wait for your computer to crash... and loose all ur files then you dont have a problem ;)

  • @johnliu64 first get an education and maybe if you've been to uni you will under stand that the macintosh in the better operating system i have both i would know

  • good stuff anything similar like that in windows ?

  • You don't need that in Windows, all you need to do is hover over a folder, and the contents total size appear in the tool-tip.

  • Windows just p00ned apple right there.

  • In Windows, all you gotta do is hover over the folder, lol.

  • I have mine set to that on my mac. This tip was useless.

  • to you but not to others

  • For Windows users it was because we don't need to set anything to view folders total content size, and unlike in OS X, the time it can take to calculate the size, in Windows as soon as you hover over the folder, the tool-tip has the size.

  • In osx we select a folder and either right click to get info or Comman + i. We don't need the folder size to pop up when we hover over it. What OS are you running? It's clear you've never owned or used a Mac for a long period of time.

  • Yea, you have to select and right click, all I need to do is hover, which is faster?

If you can't see which one, then may I have mercy on you.

I am running Windows, specifically Windows 7, but the tool-tip feature has been in Windows since like Windows 95, I believe, because I haven't used it, in I don't know how long, since the mid 90's.

I used OS X Leopard for about 6 months, for 3 hours a day, my school got iMac's my last semester of my last year of high school.

  • The thing is that I don't want to be pestered with pop ups telling me the size of my folder unless I am spec. looking for that info. That's what apple UI people figured makes sense and I agree. Most ppl don't want to be reminded of folder sizes constantly. Glad you enjoy the rip off of OS X that is Winblows 7.

  • @Ryguy1450 It's not big of a pop-up, it's a little tool-tip.

  • So, how long before you don't think Windows is a rip off, because I can name plenty of other OS's that look more like OS X, than Windows.

  • Thanks for another Apple Tutorial :-)

  • Of course its sluggish .. its apple.

  • @legendray2008 how come all the top music flim pilots editors print use mac then
