I have reached Switcheasy customer service center and they said they will be more than happy to replace the case with a brand new unit once the polycarbonate shell has been cracked. Great customer service from switcheasy!

@bounty112 True, this does hide the beauty of the iPad 2. I would love to be able to carry it around without something that provides protection but I cannot afford to replace the iPad 2 should something happen to it. A $50 investment to protect my $600+ device is worth it even if it does hide the beauty of it.
