  • non ci sono parole...semplicemente fantastico....

  • bass is fantastic here

  • even Hot Space's songs sound great live :)

  • Another outstanding piece of guitar artistry by Brian May (as always).

great song written by John Deacon(as Freddie announces) John had huge hits with Queen that were solely his compositions like, 'Another One Bites The Dust.' 'Back Chat' really has different feel than ordinary early 80's black/funk music. Freddie was in great shape for 'live' shows. It's very difficult to sing this song & get the breaths in before each line while running around the stage.Great performers & writers all of them.

  • absolute Brian May!!!!

  • Queen was Queen for the synergy effect freddies voice , rogers drum , johns bass , brians guitar skills, did i say freddies voice it all the adds up and they had so many good song becuase they all wrote. giving them a quadruple advantage of a hit.

  • Brian May is awesome on this vid!

  • Live At The Bowl or any Stadium Concert, all was Legendry

  • Live At the Bowl... Live at all Stadiums, any Concert was legendary

  • oh this is one of my favourite performances by freddie. there's just something magical in his voice

  • This is my favorurite song from "Hot Space"

  • best live music ever!!!!!!!!!!

ps. i just love his movement at 0:53

  • Brian could not have done that solo better! briliant.

  • could have cryogenically frozen freddie and brung back 2 life in da future but they had 2 be retards

  • Humble John,always behind,or in the shade,even invisible on stage,what a great composer,playing bass,guitars and piano,truly an artist .

This bass is a dynamic machine of hitting power, and he executes that so easily at the sight.

    Perfect concert.

  • If only we could clone Freddie Mercury. :(

  • Lol at Freddie walking in front of the camera at 2:22

  • wonderful

  • Oh what a dancing machine he was, we miss you freddie!

    RIP Freddie, regards, your fan

  • talk 2 Me talk 2 Me talk2 Me Go :) :)

  • i love this song and these concert!!

  • Hot Space ranges among their best albums as it truly shows their versatility regarding style and experiments. Plus, this fronter guy was the BEST LIVE PERFORMER EVER!!!!! Much better than all the studio albums!!!!!

This concert is great! If you can, buy the DVD! I watch it almost every day (though I have many more music DVDs!!!!)

Freddie you´ll never die. You´ll be in my heart forever, though I´m just 32 years old. You´ll keep rocking the world :-)

  • I agree with diversity and all, but really, Hot Space... ugh

  • better tha studio version, queen rules!

  • 4 words : BEST LIVE BAND EVER

5 words: HOT SPACE IS GREAT ALBUM

    2 words: FREDDIE MERCURY

  • 1 word: QUEEN

  • ¸„ø¤º°¨„ø¤º°¨°º¤ø„¸¨°º¤ø„¸¸„ º¤ø„¸

    ¨°º¤ø„ ¸QUEEN FOREVER!! ...º¤ø„¸

    ¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º „¸¨°º¤ø„¸¸„ ¸„ø¤º from America

  • but how can it say that 1982's "Hot Space" is a bad album???

    it's amazing!!

  • As much as I love Queen I must disagree with you. Hot Space is clearly a terrible album. How can you defend it?

  • ok, if we want to believe only about queen style, you words are right.........

but there are good song in that albu,:

    put out the fire

    under pressure

    stayng power

    back chat(live version is amazing)

body language (bass track is very good)

  • body language is probably the worst Queen song I've ever heard

  • naaaa

i don't think so......it doesn't exist the worst song by queen

  • you clearly dont know the difference between terrible and different,

hot space is a brilliant album that captures the true brilliance of queens talent to write songs in any genre and they would still be kick ass,

bands like queen don't release terrible albums,

  • I love this version.. Solo is amazing...

  • Grandiosi

  • John Deacon Rules!

Love when he goes into thunder-Thumb-Improvising mode toward the end (03:44>)

  • love the solo!

  • one of my favs on the hot space album,,,theres a great cover of this on youtube,by a band called queenie,,an theyve got the best freddie ive ever heard..its in my favourites if you wanna look...

  • lovley beginnig!

  • bAD-ASS SOLO!

  • ay,brian,que guapo!

  • Sounds more rock than the studio version

  • 05.06.1982 - is that 5 June or 6 May?

  • 5th June

  • Thank you :)

  • I'm glad people appreciate brians solo. I was surprised how good it was :D

  • the solo is screeeaaaaaammin!

  • You're confusing that with Modern Day Rap Music. LOL

  • Wow, I'm fucking sorry to the seven people who thumbed me down. I guess I can't express a god damn opinion. This is coming from someone who likes Queen so fuck off.

  • I saw your comment, you have your rights to your opinion. I didn't thumb you down. (Just to tell you).

  • Nah, I responded to you specifically so the comments would appear sequentially. I wasn't talking to you.

  • Oh, I know. I just wanted to say that you have the right to your opinions.

  • Great Great solo, Brian May Rocks in this one, I love Brian playing

  • So great to see Freddie letting go and dancing up a storm. He looks marvelous in live at the bowl! So cool.

  • i just love bryan's solo (2:21) on this version.. beautiful..

  • Good funky-type stuff! Quee, the best ever!

  • live at the super bowl usa! jajaja sucker idiots.!

  • oh my good!

    fantastic!

    freddie we miss you!

  • Oh Queen's albums are always good. But they're better live. (Probably cause of Freddie's frontman skills and the band's overall improve skills)

  • Question: Why does queen ALWAYS sound better LIVE?!?!

  • as far as I know they were always trying to sound on stage as good as on albums but it was impossible due to technical resons BUT my friend , who is an audiophile, says that their albums were not recorded very well

  • Um well I don't know what your friend is smokin' but their albums were recorded well. The reason they sound good is exactly beacuse they DON'T want to sound exactly like the album. They add a little improvisation here and there, and they knew how to interact with the audiance, to add to that freddie was such a stage persona who can't be compared to anyone else. He was fun to watch and listen...

  • yes, they were recorded well but perhaps the tracks were not mixed well - this is what my friend meant

  • Um... Well Boh. Rhapsody is a mixing masterpiece (it has over 100 layers of sound). So I doubt that even that is true...

  • yes it is a masterpiece, but we cannot hear those over 100 tracks at their best, can we? unless we're talking about the latest remasters

he said that the then Queen albums compared to Led Zep albums were not properly recorded, take care

  • It's not that they sound better, it's because they play it in a slightly different manner, it sound different, then you may think that it sound better. I remember Brian May in an interview in the Wembley '86 Live dvd saying that they tried to take the essence of each song they were to play live, and to make something different from the original song, for the simple reason that the audience has not come to listen to the original track itself, didn't they?

  • OHHH GET ON DOWN

  • Love funky deacon's bass line.

  • Great song performed by a great band!

Freddie sang "Cos you're walking in your sleep

(not cos you're talking in your sleep)

  • What a brilliant live version of this song. I buy the dvd and turn volume up til my ears exlode :-)

  • haha...me too.....

  • Why do the good have 2 die young

  • because if they didn't they'd get old and we'd wish they had.

  • this concert stars with the hero

i think that is one of the best songs from queen, but is in the underground world of queen

  • Totally agree there - it's brilliant.

  • totally agree - my favourite song, however - live version

  • yer, i think its late is the most underated queen song

  • i have this dvd

  • QUEEN THE BEST!!!

  • never heard this song until now but i love it!!

  • Red Special is moooooooooooooooooooooooooore better than Telecaster. No doubt!!!!!

  • definately, specially because you play in phase and out and also in series, and the special is just so much more beefy and flexible

  • for me this artist is the greatest treasure of humanity

  • Well, I don't like this ending that much. I love the huuuge endings from Queen muuuch more, just that incredible bombast rock!! But "Back Chat" is a wonderful song, especially in this live version ;D

  • Not only this live version is KILLER but they also manage to finish the song quiiiite well!!!

    Queen for fucking ever!

  • Mr. brian May rescued this song. Good job!!

  • Brian is absolutely amazing guitar player !!!

  • o m g BRIANNNN !

  • so true I love himmmmmm ! XD

  • This is really cool- just downloaded the song onto my mp3. Check out queens 'scandal' too.

  • one of the underrated defenitly. i love the bassline

  • Che musica!!!!Sono 4 patatern!

  • LOVE IT!! Interesting rhythm and great performance, although the song was far from being a hit at that time! It sounds very modern, Freddie and John made a hell of a team :)

  • i love the ending most ...back chatting great!

  • I prefer this song live. I love the piano at the beginning compared to the studio version. :)

  • Truly underrated live-track. Just listen the bass. Absolutely. And Freddie's voice is just... top notch. This track suits his voice so well.

What a showman, what a singer, what a great musician and perfectionist. I miss him. :-).

    Increible interpretacion!!!

  • great track yes

  • this song is awesome, and it gets even better live.;)

  • awesome dvd..

  • HOT SPACE its great but QUEEN were an awesome band live no matter what record they made. BACK CHAT its a really catchy song with great groove and bombastic solo.

  • Isn't it backvocals on this song (studio version)? .. Not at this one, why?

  • freddie always has his shirt off!! and i love it!!

  • This song sounds alot better live, but I really do like it!

  • queen-the best band ever

  • They took the songs that aren't that good on Hot Space and made them amazing.

    Queen can do that.

  • simply fantastic....

  • at the bowl is a fantastic performance, my god! and yeah freddie had the moves, and yeah this is the best version of backchat and yeah Queen is the best ****ing band ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOHO!!! ROCK ON!!!!

  • I think that's the only one you know (me too). But indeed, that was great.

  • Queen the BEST!!!

  • Nice! Great, Freddie!

  • Freddie is cooler

  • This is even better than on the album.

  • Freddie has totally got the moves;)I wish he was still alive then I'd have him give me dancing lessons...

This is soooo much better live than on the album but it is good on the album nonetheless:)And i totally agree, there should be closer shots of john he's fuckin awesome!!!

  • Un temazo

  • OMG BRIAN HAROLD MAY!

  • Great! The best live band ever. Go John Deacon!!!

  • amazing song Freddie the best!

  • this is GREAT!!!

  • looove this! :D thanks for posting!

  • THE FOUR MENBER ARE EXCELLENT..!

  • You mean John Deacon...the best bass player in the world...!!!

  • OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG THAT WAS SO GOOD

    go brian may

  • Live is always better with Queen. But why aren't there any close up shots of John at this song? It's his song and he's cool.

  • I have this dvd and it goes all weird and skips at this part :( Glad to see it on here though :)

  • roger kicks ass

  • Wow, this is excellent. Freddie is even more intense here than in studio. And Brian's guitar solo is better (may be because he played his own guitar here vs telecaster)

  • G R E A T better live tha studio version

  • Its called back chat back chat back chat back chat...lol

  • Thanks a million for putting this one up, being the avid John Deacon fan that I am I had to hear it. You brightened up my day.
