Sat. nite, 2:30 a.m., clubs all closed, home alone...
Where am i gonna get a dose of the real blues??? I KNOW!!! ;D
I'll just click to blueguitar69, and YAAAHOOOO!!!!! Knock me out, Stevie! Oh yeah! That's just what i need, oh yeah, buddy, just like that!!! Your playing & singing are exquisite, and I am as close to satisfied as a man can be who never is! Hahahaha! ;D
Love ya, Brooklyn, well, so long!
Actually, I think I'll play this again a couple more times! ;D
Freund, great player, I dpent too many nights watching you at B.L.U.E.S. on Halsted with Sunnyland. I always thought you were very controlled and smooth.I'm posting a video to your channel with me on bass and some others you may recognize.
I didn't "get" Steve until after I'd seen him about 3 or 4 times. Then all of a sudden the lightbulb in my head came on, and ahhhh, now I get it. Since then he's become one of my favorite players, I really like that old school Chicago stuff he plays. And the best thing of all, he's local so I can see him frequently at the local blues clubs. Nice guy as well. Thanks, Steve, for keeping the Blues alive.
Good to hear you again Steve. I remember years ago when you hosted the Mondat night blues jam with Big Walter Horton at Blues on Halsted. Those were good times. Hope we meet again...Roadrunner
Hi Steve, What a nice surprise! Waiting to meet you again in the flesh in SF...It's so good to see you performing..."at home" in France. Always a delight to see you playing, singing. Thanks for this nice gift.I like this tune which perfectly corresponds to you.
You are awesome!! You are definitely one of my all-time favorites. It was good to see you at Kinko's --- hope to see you soon again! Lynn (of Lynn and Jay)
Brooklyn Steve, it mystifies me how you can be sooo smooth, silky class, and hard driving, raw, bite-ya-in-the-butt Blues, at the same time! You are a master of masters, thank you for posting this treasure! Great voice, an extra 5 stars!

Damn...what a great tone he has on this on, and none of that overplaying crap. VERY NICE.
I'm like one of the earlier commenters, I didn't get Steve at first, but over the years I fianlly got some snap.
