  • @Satman07 would love the tab...

  • Reminds me of S.M.V.

  • @Youckaify S.M.V is 3 people, Antoine is one. i'm a bassist and love smv a lot, but it just goes to show that Antoine doesn't need anything more than 2 hands, 2 magic rings, 6 strings, 10 fingers, and one guitar

  • @bobbyflay I know, its amazing.

  • ghesboro !

  • what tuning is this song composed in?

  • @slydg Check antoine's website under the FAQ, he has all the tunings he uses listed there

  • WOW.

  • I tied a bandana on my guitar and it didn't help me. Well, maybe it helped a little. as I now had something conveniently located to wipe my tears.

  • He made the guitar tabs available, but what's the point?

  • Comment removed

  • How the f do you learn how to play like this guy?

  • dam I play for about 6 years, I think I will start at zero and will learn antoine dufour style. ^^

  • I love this song. Looks like fun to play. Another masterpiece by an outstanding artist. Mr Dufour, your music is just great. Thanks.

  • Still in love with the music, don`t care if it where to be a fake!!

    One LOve! :B

  • @killerwhaleseaeagle NEVER SAY THAT AGAIN. IVE SEEN T HIS MAN IN CONCERT AND HE IS NOT A FAKE

  • 26 mistakes

  • @nictoten Shut up.

  • @BOOMHEADSHOT1245 I think they were referring to the number of dislikes, not to any mistakes made by Antoine..

  • @JellyCastleCo Aaaaaaaah that would make sense. Well then, they are excused :P

  • Why is there even a dislike button for Antoine's videos?

  • when i try to cover songs of him, i thinkk most of time, why does they sound MUCH better from him?!?! it demotivates me:P

  • @twommie i know what you mean, you can pick the same notes in a similar way, but it never sounds the same :(, in fairness his guitar is pretty awesome, that probably helps!

  • Monstro

  • Timing is right on not "Modified" in any way

  • No need to ever leave his house...just sit and be awesome.

  • 1:28 - 1:33 that was amazing!!

  • so i click this video, go to another window, i start head nodding, go back, and i'm head nodding at the same time as Antoine....this guy is pro

  • 26 people have obviously never touched a guitar. or they listen to greenday..

  • @sethtastical Well I've been known to listen to Green Day occasionally, but I can still admit that Dufour is a GOD. A maniacally brilliant god...

  • Comment removed

  • @sethtastical hey green day isnt bad... they just arent as musically talented as mr dufour here

  • holy shit

  • this would make a sick metal cover

  • @neilorourke71 Silly boyyyy.

  • Just plain fucking Awesomeness.

  • The move at 1:47 is just gross.

  • at 0:10 you can hear moaning.. hes that good

  • @rudemcdude Sorry about that, that's MY moaning.

  • @rudemcdude LOL I actually thought that was someone moaning, I thought the cameraman must be taking the piss or something

  • @rudemcdude Holy fuck thats true

  • @rudemcdude LOL that was f'in hilarious!!!! At first I thought there was some weird audio problem until i realized it was his fingers rubbing against the strings.

  • what's the name of his guitar?

  • i wish just my thumb could do that.

  • @will4terribletowel thats what she said...

  • what am i seeing... its unbelievable... i like

  • NASTY!!!!

  • I bet he can break light with his fingers.

  • does anyone can tell me where is that studio???or is it just a background set up......

  • is it just me or does it look like hes playing in a confession booth at a church?

  • @MrGruntcore Forgive me for I have sinned. To ensure I'm forgiven I'm going to play something that will get your undivided attention god.

  • @boredwan i think he was definitly listning :)

  • blown away man,,,,

  • this song totally sucks after 3:27

  • @aosborne678 agreed!

  • wow.. composing music across multiple instruments is hard enough for me, never mind arranging something for a solo guitar!

  • his guitar oozes pure sex...

  • the harmonics he puts in @0:41 is so f:ing cocky i love it!

  • @Synaesthethic i suprised more people havent liked that comment, your damn right its so smooth he knows hes got them in the bag

  • 0:10 sounds like a girl moaning!!!hahahah this guy is amazing tho.....keep it up

  • @brandonb598 good call didn't recognize that

  • @brandonb598 Its not a girl...its the guitar....thats how good he is...;)

  • Lol at :10 when he comes in after those harmonics, I think it's the pick scraping the strings but it totally sounds a chick moaning for a split second.

  • Comment removed

  • @wsullivan86 haha your comment made me laugh :D

  • Good lord....

  • :10 right as he goes into the chord, sounds like a dirty sex grunt.

  • @battleaxbass52195 did you notice that the first time?? i thought my mind was dirty... haha . it does tho, agreed

  • @Epeelax i just pooped

  • his other two hands must be invisible

  • @roehee1234 probably just made my whole day with that comment lol

  • 26 people don't know what good music even is

  • nps, please???

    holy shit..

  • many years of university in music

  • :) Love it !, check my channel not good as him but take a look anyway xD ;)

  • Comment removed

  • Ah i dont know, i enjoyed this song til about 3:27 but after that i wasnt really feeling it :/

  • The pick scratch at 0:09 sounds like a moan.

  • @Pen2AndyP I thought that too! Made me go back and listen again ^_^

  • The reason I bought my 23-CR

  • The riff at 2:28... Holy Shit :O

  • Comment removed

  • @narcissistmasochist yeah thats the sound of his fingernails moving over the strings. like your thought process though. haha

  • @narcissistmasochist lol i think its the sound of his thumb pick scraping down the string before he strums but then again...

  • This mother fucker is my idol, he is masterful with is playing, if youtube has not made him famous then youtube is a piece of shit, i love the way this sounds and the pinch hermonics and finger strumming is unique, also, ITS HIS STUFF!!! thats what makes it so great, im a HUGE FAN! i wish and dream i could play like that, but some people have it and some dont, he DEFINITELY HAS IT!

  • Antoine must be from another planet because you'd have to be an alien to play something like this and remember it!!!!

  • the best part is from 00:00 - 3:27

  • @diesel5355 i totally agree with you..

  • this is insanely good. the lick at 2:30 is just sublime!

  • I bet he started out with Guitar Hero !!!

NOT - this is soo sweet :D

  • epic!

  • This guy eats a fat bowl of AWESOME for breakfast every day, right before he kicks SUCK in the face.

  • He is the god of fingersyle guitar. This song... so relaxing

  • Thankyou Antoine!!! Even though i have listen to your songs so many times i still enjoy them! Your music has both skill and feeling- it's amazing to see such things together in one artist!

  • Incredible... composition is very intimidating

  • effin candyrat..... im sure that they just spawn people like this in machines to be the greatest guitarists ever, whole factory full of antoines, dons, andys, etc

  • Totally Awesome, Definantly the best acoustic player + Songwriter in my eyes. Keep Rockin dude

  • he's probably thinking "damn...why am i so fucking awesome?"

  • @briguylf11 ......i would be...you too, most people would...i think he could care less

  • @briguylf11 ahahah XD

  • @briguylf11 I'd be thinking the same damn thing lol

  • @briguylf11 nah, prolly just thinking about hitting the right string and making this sounds as sweet as possible! id say he did a great job at doing that!

  • @briguylf11 Practice lol.

  • I adore the fact that he is obviously loving it, with his little head bobbing. :D

  • Talent like this, and Justin Cocksuckers' videos have millions of views.

  • @Nuclearlion73 is that trying to say something about this guy?

  • @huntrayisabeast16 I'm trying to say worthless people like Justin Beiber are in the superstar spotlight, but people with actual talent like Antoine Dufour remain mostly unheard of.

  • @Nuclearlion73 yea thats wat i thoguht once i red it again. haha and your totally right. they use computer voices an all this crap...americas turning very fake these days!

  • @Nuclearlion73

    definitely agree

but i guess it's also because what's playing on the radio is aimed at a certain generation of people (people from maybe 9 to 18 years old) like how, for example, classic rock such as Led Zepplin, Carlos Santana, Guns N Roses etc were aimed at our parent's generation (i'm 15 and yes i know my profile says 24 lol) but music that Antoine, Andy, Don, or Craig compose is just not what my generation is listening to and that's who the radio is aiming sadly.

  • @pinoixboi too sum up everything u said: this music is timeless.

  • @Nuclearlion73

a lot of nowadays "music" is 90% image and 10% talent; they'll take anyone that strikes an eye and make them into a "musician"...i suppose that's what a good majority of people are looking at.

  • @pinoixboi I don't think anyone on the radio anymore has anywhere near 10% talent. It's whoever has the most emo looking hairstyle that makes it big. I'm 17 and I can't fucking believe half the shit my shitty generation is listening to.

  • @Nuclearlion73

    seriously man

Well, i guess that's just what the majority of our generation is in to. Not a whole bunch could be done unless this type of music get's big publicly...kinda doubt that with how things are going now. Ah well least i know about CandyRat and i'm happy and content with that alone.

  • @Nuclearlion73 me too man, me too.

  • The 26 people that dislike this video should be held prisoner and beaten with sticks daily.

  • it must feel amazing to be able to play like this, to put out exactly what you feel in the form of music.

  • the mind boggling thing is, he said in an interveiw that this was his favouite song to play "because you dont really have to concentrate"....jesus....

  • @GarretsShadow Though it's insane to learn, I can imagine where he's coming from. If you write it yourself it's much easier for some reason. It's totally his way of doing things. Plus fingerstyle is generally like that - it becomes a reflex. This song's a lot more standard in terms of technique than some of his other stuff.

  • @snackajack117 yeah i know what you mean. Bit random, but do you think this song might be influenced by don ross?

  • mind boggling...

  • A musician's musician !

  • @Telelikeitis

    i though french.

but still, no reason for you to be proud of him being from the same country. you have nothing to do with this.

  • Love the headbanging :)

He sort of reminds me of a really proud goose xD, I wonder if he has a walk to go with it.

  • yes... as my mentor always say; "you can't put that on writing, you have to learn it by eyes and by ears."

  • @guitariztuh see this is where IMO opinion, to learn this song u must know certain things, and reading notation might be one of them, i keep telling my students that tabs are always inaccurate and u will never truly understand music if u do not know music. Also he is using certain techniques that u require, it isn't just moving fingers ya know, he studied the classical guitar attended school, he knows his music, this is why he can write complex compositions.

  • @fxxkuxu.. i totally agree.. talent plus training makes this kinda thing.

  • Amazingly awesome!! I agree with diesel5355!!

  • you dont hear the melody.... lol what do you even speak of, you do not make sense, just because you dont like the very obvious melody of this song doesnt mean it doesnt exist..

  • @Saendar i guess your ears have not matured yet

  • @PRONeil06 And attacking someone for stating an opinion about a song - not its listeners - is so mature?

  • how fun must be to play that song C:

  • The difference between 'Shredders', or Rock gods like 'Slash' and men like Antione Dufour, is that Those shredders and proclaimed rock gods probably Idolise skilled men like Antione Dufour.

  • is it just me or does antoine look like a hard ass in this lol

  • Could you imagine this on Guitar Hero?

    I can't.

  • @Sn1p3rSh4wn this is music too good to be ruined by guitar hero

  • all the self proclaimed "Gods of rock" couldn't even come close to this man's skill. Let's see Slash do something like this.

  • @chadortom

Watch what you're saying. Slash IS a very skilled player, and he's awesome at what he does.

This is an entirely different 'specialization', so asking to see Slash do this is a bit out of the context, no?

Nevertheless, this guy can play 8D

    5+ stars!

  • alright, i see what you're saying. I was just trying to point out what the general public might see as an "amazing guitarist". Slash is good no doubt. But when you think "amazing guitarist" him, or some other shreader might come to mind, whereas this guy is what it's really all about

  • Yea, I agree with you. With guitar, you always have knowitalls that believe that shredders ar THE best.

It's the only thing they say too ... Like "I'd like to see this guy shred." or "Batio is 10 times faster", crap like that.

I'm pretty tired of that too. People tend to forget to respect things that aren't their own interests.

  • this is the definition of a sublime music.

  • talk about dexterity, woot!

  • fucking amazing,

    love the sneaky harmonics :)

  • candyrate@5*****.......Awesome.!!!!!

  • lol kinda looks like frankie boyle

  • sweet

  • thid guy is a mix between noah bennet and one of the guys of britain's got tallent!!

  • download his music. this dude has got some really interesting ideas and an amazing feel for rhythm.

  • is that a Breedlove?

  • Nah, he plays Stonebridge....or played, I think he might've changed but that's a Stonebridge

  • What the f..... is that candyrat ?????????

it should be called Area 51.damn it am i stupid or what ive been playing for twelve years.......and then ti see this?????

    mutants!!!???

    Thanks

  • @Mrlogotobi they have been sent to advance the human race.

  • @Mrlogotobi Haha i cant agree more, and i laughed so hard at area 51 but yeah its true. I just hope i can play like this before i die.

  • Where can I buy a box of your talent? I need a big box of it. :-)

  • True Genius

I watch Antonio play & realize how Little I know

  • @TheTwb1024

same... everytime i listen to antoine or andy mckee or tommy emmanuel i feel that way.

i'm learning this song now... it's unreal that people can write music this beautiful

  • my fav artist from candyrat, keep sharing the good stuff Antoine :)

  • mezmerizing

  • i wish i had the damn tabs to this song

  • i have them

  • This song isn't SO hard.

The tricky parts are the licks, and getting the thumb pattern down correctly.

As long as you play it slowly, you can get it down pretty easy.
