@ErikS1975FreeState Just won our first TRADITIONAL New Years Bowl in 50 years. We're hoping to go beyond being a solid program. It will be a tough order. We have a small school with the smallest recruiting base in the Big Ten. Perhaps we could build a tradition to attract big name recruits as we don't have the demographic advantages teams like Florida and USC have. Nebraska did it though it took them a number of years.

The Hawkeyes have an excellent Head Coach who's perfect for that Program & understands both sides of the ball very well who's built very good teams on both sides of the ball. They need to recruit out of state like in Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska if they want to consistently compete with Michigan, Ohio State & Penn State for the Big 10 Championship or even a BCS Championship.
