  • What moldings do you want on what truck? let me know you can have all them. I hate molding.

  • What is your opinion of the 700R4 transmission?

  • @mightyjoelaith They're a little weak, but everything breaks eventually... Better parts are available for a tougher rebuild

  • It should be the same for a diesel too, but to adjust the tv cable, push the button on it to reset the cable all the way in. then with the engine off go inside and push the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor. proper tv cable adjustment is crucial to the life of a 700r4.

  • @mjmcomputers TCI make a constant pressure valve body that won't let you screw up with too little pressure due to mis-adjusted cable. Bout time!

  • @CORVAIRWILD I'll be getting one of those if I ever have to rebuild my trans.

  • Fram is ok if you dont beat on your cars like we all do...

  • I've used Fram and Wix filters forever without issues. Wat iz zee probleam?

  • @Radiowild Fram is Dollar store quality. Google it... Wix or Napa gold is alot better

  • As far as Fram goes, I usually stop at Meijer (which is open 24 hours) on my way home from work at 4:00 AM to pick up my oil change stuff. Unfortunately the only brand they carry is Fram. I'm planning on changing the oil on my Safari this weekend, so I think I'll get the stuff from somewhere else this time (unless I decide to take it somewhere and have it done.) I've never had any problems with Fram filters, but judging by what you and others say, I'm not so sure about them now.

  • @JeffN727 Cur one open. You can mail order a Mobil 1 filter, or KN... Supposedly AC Delco has gone junk for recycling issues

  • @CORVAIRWILD Well, I ended up getting a Fram. Went to Wal Mart, and my only choices were Fram, or the cheap Wallyworld brand, and I definitely didn't want that. They had some AC Delcos, but not the right one for the Safari 4.3. I could mail order one, but I don't want to wait for it to come. Want to get it done. I change my oil every 3000-4000 miles anyway, so It's not like I'm leaving it on there for 2 years or anything. Oil was last changed in May by the previous owner.

  • @CORVAIRWILD I might cut open the one that's on there now, which came from an oil change place, and see what that looks like.

  • Us Land Rover drivers say that if it stops leaking you've run out of oil/coolant. I'd like to see the purchase papers for mine, I can't think of one thing that wouldn't have been standard, in fact I don't think anything was offered.

  • LMC has them trim pieces, pre cut or in one big roll that you cut yourself. you called up lube specialists? get the whole darn kit, like i said, their oil cooler is a bit larger so it cools the oil better

  • LMC has them trim pieces, pre cut or in one big roll that you cut yourself.

  • I got a video on that, Re adjusted it., Then wound up replacing it because it had a kink in it. Shifts great w/. A new cable $18 bucks AC delco!

  • ahaha you should make a video of you taking your gloves off that would be interesting

  • you can still buy that trim at pepboys i think.
