this is a pathetic song for a beatiful poem my dad is dead i am 13 and this is the poem dedicated to him in the booklet what a terrible way to ruin my day
Heard this poem at a very dearly loved friends funeral last week. This time of year its The line " I am the diamond glint on snow" that sticks in my head...She is always and forever in my heart xx
Over Memorial Day weekend of 2005 I went to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, better known as The Wall, for the first time. I had planned this trip months in advance. I wanted to leave something at The Wall to remember and honor all the men and women named there who gave their all for all of us.
I left a laminated copy of this hymn in front of all 140 panels that compose The Wall. Thank you so much for your beautiful rendition of this. I pray it brings comfort and peace to many. Semper Fi.

I love the message in this song. It is so uplifting and positive. However, I do not love the message that says "none shall come unto the father but by me". I have no use for exclusive "my way or the highway (to hell)" religions.
I love this poem, song and video.. but I really don't think it's such a christian idea which is described in this lyrics - because the idea of becoming part of all these things seems to fit much better to nature based, maybe pagan or pantheistic religions, not to christianity, which believe is that the soul goes to god in heaven.
This is truly beautiful! A friend gave me this poem when my son was taken from us! Her voice is absolutely gorgeous and you can understand the words! md
Sigh seeing religious views everywhere in youtube... I don't believe in jesus and I won't want the place he prepared for us- because i know he isn't there. If he's real, well pray for him to enlighten us logical non-believer to 'help us'
I will always be praying for you, and so called "logical non believers," but it's more of a question of faith than of logic, but peace be with you, regardless :)
@in1pieces I refer to my comment above, even if you dont "beleive" watch Mel Gibsons "the passion of the Christ, it is NOT religious but you might get something from it. I am not religious but you have to stop and think if a guy would volunteer to be crucified he must have had something important to say, the problem is that religious people have distorted the message.
@tegid699 Hahaha I'm not one sided(unlike most Christians). I'd watched it. You see, they can even create something so real like the passion of Christ. Go search Indonesian crucified. There are MANY people who volunteered to be crucified without even having anything to say. I mean, if God can be created by no one, why can't you all see the view that human MAY be created by no one also? Human created 'God', that is the most logical statement to say. Ask me why
Hi everyone. Thank you to everyone for your wonderful comments. I've had a lot of requests for this song. It is sung by Welsh superstar Katherine Jenkins - the song can be found on her 2005 album Living A Dream.
That is absolutely beautiful! I dont understand y folk dont like her singing! words cannot express how touching this song is. it is not too complex but that is part of what makes it so beautiful! R.I.P great nana
This is absolutely breathtaking. Such lovely poetry to start with Mary E. Frye's poem and the music is so majestic and heavenly. Thank you for sharing. God bless.
Absolutely wonderful! Having just lost my soulmate and partner I find myself coming back to this video frequently; each and every time it makes me cry ever so much. Its just so beautiful...
ive just cried my eyes ou to that song, it was beautiful, and like many others it brought back painful memories of lost family members, mainly my own father who passed away when i was just 10 years old, im 18 now and its nice to be able to sit back and remember in silent tears so thankyou

A totally deceiving song, of course Jesus Christ died, history accounts for it and it is documented in numerous independent ancient sources.
As for whether He is no longer dead that's a different matter altogether, but He died and that's a true historical fact which cannot be denied.
At first I didn't think this song was about Jesus Christ but about love, until the last two photo shots erroneously points toward Jesus Christ.
I could be wrong maybe this song not about Jesus Christ after all.

I think that this is a Wilfred Owen poem. Written in 1918 from the front line in France..
BWFSabian 3 years ago
The poem was written by Mary Elizabeth Frye (1905-2004). Although it does sound like many Wilfred Owen's poems.
If many of you don't know Wilfred Owen's work, then look up "Anthem For Doomed Youth."
