  • Another piece of pure class from someone who knows exactly what he's doing.....Top man!

  • You say exactly like Gibson and Epiphone Explorers, but i have an Explorer and they have a hockey stick style headstock, not a 3 by 3. Still a legit guitar!

  • @TheDumb12; Body shape yes.. we are not talking about headstock-shape

  • This is like porn to me. Love vids like this!

  • @MayarO1313; Awesome.. :D

  • I was really hoping for an instructional but to my surprise, it is only a time lapsed vid of the work in progress. Definitely not instructional.

  • What you used for routing holes on wood?

  • I HAVE to go check out video 2 to see how the story ends. Love the centre stripe in the body. Nice touch!

  • how much if i wanted one built?

  • @keithgatti; A professional handbuilt explorer with active EMG pickups cost about $2000 that includes magogony body with a mahogony neck (maple optional)..

  • beautiful guitar....thanks for the vid...

  • what are the measurments for the whole body

  • @LOMAZ5150; Exactly like the Gibson Explorer and Epiphone Explorer

  • @HearGear na i mean like length and width

  • Excellent vid just one thing I'm guessing your from Sweden.so .I will help you. by proofreading. When you say or type a word with a vowel like sound always end the letter 'A' with a consonant like when I say 'An electric guitar' not 'a electric guitar. 'An explorer' not: 'a explorer'. Well anyway my two cents shared. My typing isnt perfect either, but this spelling is important when speaking and writing, so you don't sound retarded like the rest of america. LOL. Killer guitar!

  • @7REDDRACO7; Well.. we learn as long as we live.. :D:D.... :D

  • @7REDDRACO7 i came here to say that... thanks lol

  • @7REDDRACO7 what kind of mf are you anyways?, this gentleman is trying to share information about guitar making (beautiful guitar making at that) and you have to correct his English writing? he probably speaks more than 2 languages and most likely that is the reason for any mistakes, what is your reason for your inability to write proper English? you don't believe in commas or apostrophes?, so if your typing isn't perfect then go and learn before you correct , you red neck...trailer park trash.

  • @besamemucho5 Are you really that stupid? 7REDDRACO7 has just made the most polite corrective comment I have ever seen, a far cry from yours. Which, by the way, uses english that is a hell of a lot worse than his. What's with this line; 'you don't beleive in commas or apostrophes?,?' Apparently you believe in them too much, with the question mark with a comma afterwards. Also you must not believe in the correct placement of capital letters, which you must not have spotted, you being a scholar.

  • @besamemucho5 I just believe we all need to work together to keep our language correct, and if that means pulling our heads out of the sand...then...it should be done. Its like everyone that doesn't know how to merge into traffic anymore and we are all just pulling over into the fast lane now because all the cars are too slow now. Its like how do I say it...if your drowning, don't lean on the next person to drown them also ...just learn to swim as fast as possible...like asap. or immediately

  • @7REDDRACO7 Really?!?! STFU... LMAO!

  • @7REDDRACO7 Getting 'your' and 'you're' is important too. Your is possessive (your guitar, your book, your car), you're is a contraction of 'you are'. As in, you are from Sweden which is contracted to "you're from Sweden." Just trying to help out. (I'm sure it was just a typo anyhow) :)

  • nooo.... i need to see part 2!

  • part 2??????

  • I thought Explorers are neck throughs

  • @montyvw1 it is called set-neck

  • @montyvw1 not gibson explorers...

  • pretty bitching. When I saw that EMG I instantly thought of James Hetfield.

  • yes good job

  • the beat is soooooo catchy, am I right?

  • can anyone explain to me why there is a light colored line going through the guitar at 1:59? Is it for design, or what?

  • @MetalliVideos I'd assume it's just for aesthetics, a strip of wood that thin shouldn't affect the tone too much. It does give an accruate center-line too, although with the two laminated peices, it would have anyways.

  • what kind of wood did you use?

  • music?? it's cool!! ;)

  • @g3speed14 wastes tons of wood, also more likely to warp etc, and harder to repair

  • @g3speed14 wastes tones of wood, also more likely to warp etc, and harder to repair

  • What was the angle of that headstock? im making my own Explorer but im making it a Through-Body guitar so the neck and body will be one long piece.

  • @haluunnaista: Its maple

  • @HearGear no its balsa wood. i can tell, im a proffesional

  • @HearGear Wow dude. your a freakin madman lol. why didn't you use mahogany?

  • @haluunnaista its blasa wood.

  • Bit of a fuck up with the length of the neck pocket eh?! lol

  • well done Mr. Gear

  • I wouldn't call it an Explorer, I would call it an Expauler, haha! (If anybody got that, thinkin' about the headstock..)

  • 1 emg!!!!!! no u need 2

  • what 's the size of the body?

  • Nice one. But a bit strange headstock for an Explorer I'd say...
