Do you link you muscle groups on certain days or do you do each muscle group on its own day. For example, do you do back/tris on the same day or do you do them separately? Thanks.
I don't comment very often but this is the only workout that has made my biceps feel like exploding. I have tried many diff tips from the Youtubes with minimal results.
thanks man, im going to start doing this workout tomorrow for 3 months and see what kind of results i get, im 15 years old and i'd like to know that how many times a week should i do this?
Great workout! Seeing results after only 1 1/2 week, but then i had a pretty good routine before hand, of which my body obviously had gotten too used to to give any further results.
so could i do 4 sets of pre-exhaustion, 4 sets of isolation and then 4 sets of contraction?? or do i have to do pre-exhaust, isolation, contraction and that would be onr set?? please reply im confused and this looks like a very good bicep workout :)
ok so each set u restart from beggining? or do 3 sets or pre then 3 sets of isolation then 3 sets last 1? and since im goin for mass should i do like 10 reps instead of like 16?
hey bro .. VERy good videos you got . i started following ur work outs .. 1 question about this video .. how many times i work out a week for biceps ? using these 3 excersizes
Thank you for the advice, I've been hitting the gym like a ton of bricks for months now and my Biceps Just Won't Grow! >< I'm just a stronger version of my same shitty looking self. What good is being able to curl 50lb weights if you look like hospice patient. I'm going to give this guys routine a try.
today (valentines day) for some reason I was feeling low and unmotivated (not the usual case, as I am a pretty highly motivated guy) but I saw this video and it put me in gear. so thank you sharing this "more than" bicep video.
I've read the description and I think I'll give this a try. In the description it reads repeat above for 3-6 sets. Do you consider the 3 exercises combined to be one set? Also, I am a smaller guy and I've always been taught more weight = more mass. You never completely max out in this exercise. Being on the smaller end, do you think I'll experience the same results?
hey again same question as before. how frequently should this workout be done and should it my main and only bicep workout or can i add it to my usual routine???
plus thanks for the fast response on my first comment
I know the song is Infinity but it is a mashup mix with another song....Does anybody have a clue on what mix this is? Or what the other song is possibly?
I love this workout!!! My rabbi saw my bicept and said "what are you smuggling mangos?" since then I've been overdosing this workout! Trying to get a coconut compliment now ;)
Thankyou dude thxs a lot, I'm sixteen and could always do 10 standing bicep curls with 40s but never got the full size I wanted near my upper bicep and forearm joint but after even 1 week of the other 2 workouts along with standing curls I've already noticed a much better size and shape look
for your second exercise, what degree should i be doing it, because i have an adjustable bench with seven positoons, what postion should i be doing it in or degree.>?
Looking forward to trying this for the first time in a few days. Just quickly - can I add some hammer curls at the end of the workout as I want to hit forearms too. Or is this too much? (ie do the sets you recommended, then do 3 sets of hammers to finish). Cheers
Would you mind posting a simple but effective ab routine? and btw i have been doing this bicep exercise for a few weeks now and i can already see some results.
Two questions, towards the end, when your doing the bicept curls, why are you using a straight bar, instead of the gruved ones? And y are you doing it while on bench? Thanks much
hey i do standing curls (with the bar) and i look like i have correct form but i get a burning sensation in my back, no pain though. I read somewhere that it could be that my back is weaker so its just giving out more (since im standing) not sure
Basically the "Isolation exercise" is a concentration curl... Just made extremely dificult by using a bench.... Can do the same just sitting at the end of a bench/chair and curling it.
Good Tips man! These are peak exercises yes but would you include exercises such as hammer curls into your routine for the outer part of the bicep on the same day as this or a different day?
If I work out at home and don't have a bench, could I replace the preacher curls with seated one arm concentration curls since that is also an iso movement?
silly question, I just wanna make sure I understand it because I feel like I've plateaued on my biceps. you want us to do exercises 1,2, and 3 back to back and that = 1 set? then do that 2 more times?
when you "plateau" your body is used to the movement, the way reuben describes getting past a plateau, is not doing the exercise so often. You can get more info on his website. Personally i like to do forced negatives if i feel im plateauing on this exercies.
That pre-fatigue exercise is pretty damn good. Love the feeling when blood goes into the bicep and it gets all pumped up. Thanks alot for sharing knowledge appreciate it!
getting ripped ,its not hard , you just have to understand ur body ,mainly the way it responds to nutrition and u surely need to lift weights to make ur metabolism faster !
I'm enthusiastic about training, I turned my life upside down 3 months ago and in three monts i managed to drop my body fat percentage from 26.4 to 21.
i've been training 3-5 times a week and my according to the bodymeasuring device, my muscles havent grown, though they havent decreased either, is this normal, someone please tell me?
I hope someone more knowledgeable gets back to you...good job on the weightloss! Anyway, there can be a number of things in play, but you seem to be doing something right. You need to go to Pearnomore's website, there are a ton of great articles on it and some workouts you might want to try to make sure your intensity is high enough to get you results.
for the seated barbell contraction curls, do you have to use a small movement like that? or is it better to curl it to the top and rly contract your bicep?
I think that is what his weights are... you would have to do the math for yourself..
Ex: if your 1 rep max for dumbell curls is 40 lbs. then you would do 0.4x40=16 lbs. So you would use 16 lb dumbells for the double curls for 5-6 reps..
well, he basically means thats the percentage of your 1RM( 1 rep maximum) the one you can just about do once, that you do, eg if you can only lift 10kg 1 time then 40% is 4kg, 85% is about 8 or 9 an so on
I'm on the fourth week doing this workout and guys seriously it works so good! I actually do five sets of the circuit to really kill it and take a week to recover and I'm getting fantastic gains in strength and size, this guy knows what he's talking about for sure!
I had a question...I've been going for tone more than bulk for the past little while, and to tone you need to do LOW weight with HIGH repetitions. I was wondering if this is considered a toning exercise? or a bulking exercise? thanks alot
its neither because theres no such thing as a toning or bulk exercise...high reps with low weight is the biggest misconception in weight lifting....the only way to tone a muscle is to loose body fat....and you accomplish this through strict diet and cardio
The beauty of this is that it combines both. The first exercise primes the biceps for the weights. The second is a bulking exercise (as it is LOW reps HIGH weight) and the final exercise builds bulk and tone as it is a mixture.
But ultimately this is a bulk exercise, but tone will definately be improved through use of this system.
theres no such thing as a bulking or toning exercise....the only kind is a muscle building exercise...the biggest misconception in the weight lifting world today is that you can increase a muscle's tone through high reps and low weight...there is no benefit to this kind of training at all...the only way to increase muscle tone is through strict dieting and intense cardio
someperson may be mixing that up, you do the 3 exercises with no rest in between, then after doing the 1 set of all 3 of the exercises, take a 2 minute break, and repeat 2 more times for a total of 3 sets of the 3 exercises.
great vid mate.. been doing this for about a month it has really helped me get that half and inch on the arms hitting 17.5 inch now. guys if yous take this seriously it can do wonders for you. happy training!
Aight I don't get this! Are we suppose to do this just three exercises and then its over? Like is the first exercise one set and the second second set and third exercise third set and after that you're done or what?
Do the 1st exercise then straight after that do the 2nd exercise then straight after that do the 3rd exercise, have a 2min rest then repeat it all over again 2 more times. So all 3 exercises = 1 set.
i'm 15, i've train for 13months and counting, i've used this for 2days and i can feel it, i don't go to extreme though, i don't want green stick fractures :) Thanks for the upload!

hello
im a german boy and i don't understand what
- weight - 40 % 1 RM ( 25lbs)
- weight 85 % 1 RM (45lbs)
and weight -40% 1 RM (2x 22.5 lbs) means?
Pls a fast answer
I love your workout
AllTiiMeLow 2 years ago
I think that is what his weights are... you would have to do the math for yourself..
Ex: if your 1 rep max for dumbell curls is 40 lbs. then you would do 0.4x40=16 lbs. So you would use 16 lb dumbells for the double curls for 5-6 reps..
krybolt 2 years ago
Just a fellow youtuber here, not the dude who hosts the video. But anyways, 40% and 60% means 40 and 60% percent of your max.
WTFisAuserFRCKINname 2 years ago
well, he basically means thats the percentage of your 1RM( 1 rep maximum) the one you can just about do once, that you do, eg if you can only lift 10kg 1 time then 40% is 4kg, 85% is about 8 or 9 an so on
rorymac007 2 years ago
Hi, my german isnt great, as i havent done it in a while so i will try to answer in english because yours seems fine.
1 RM means one rep max so for the first exercise you use a weight that is 40 percent of the weight that you can only perform one good form rep with
Hope this helps

When you say "take a week to recover" do you mean you don't work out for a week or you just work other mussels?

I had a question...I've been going for tone more than bulk for the past little while, and to tone you need to do LOW weight with HIGH repetitions. I was wondering if this is considered a toning exercise? or a bulking exercise? thanks alot
Acolyte14 2 years ago
its neither because theres no such thing as a toning or bulk exercise...high reps with low weight is the biggest misconception in weight lifting....the only way to tone a muscle is to loose body fat....and you accomplish this through strict diet and cardio

Hello im 18. IS it effect my growing if i standing up doing these? if it does can i just sit down . is it goin to get the same result?
monkeyboiz1 2 years ago
no, it won't affect your growing, as long as you don't bend over, you shouldn't hurt your back.
Back must be straight

so do all 3 of those exercises 3 times each with 2 min breaks between em?
shoninho10 2 years ago
at 6:30 he says no break in between
someperson111 2 years ago
someperson may be mixing that up, you do the 3 exercises with no rest in between, then after doing the 1 set of all 3 of the exercises, take a 2 minute break, and repeat 2 more times for a total of 3 sets of the 3 exercises.
