I bought Vista 32bit (not XP)for games.. I run Ubuntu 64bit as my main OS. This isn't rookie hour.. I have been doing this a long time.

Asus is very good. Some of their boards come with wifi, but a card is only about 20-70 dollars i wouldnt think such a small price should make a difference.

Quite right, Windows 32bit will only see 3200MB RAM. BUT, it will cahce 896MB (Please note, I tested this under Vista Ultimate). 64bit will see some ridiculous amount of RAM... like 64GB I think. I'm not entirely sure. Either way, we like things that work and Windows 64bit probably doesnt even support some of his motherboard drivers.

I didn't go for 64 bit Vista since it is impossible to find drivers. I run Ubuntu 64bit as my primary OS. Seems people in the linux community have embraced 64 bit more than PC component manufacturers. I just have Vista on there for certain games. I have been in windows for like a week now due to the Crysis SP demo. It puts a hurtin on my machine. I might need to get an additional video card. :)

Vista 64 server can see 64gb vista ultimate 64 can see 8gb maxx. It works just fine its not an issue if what your buying is somehting within the past 1-2 years and a decent product. If you buy cheap products then dont waste the money on vista 64, the only reason you should get 64 is if your using more than 4 gb of ram and the average gamer or homebody doesnt need anymore.
