For anyone that doesn't want to see any of the BS commercials or any of those fake artists strong suggestion. Download a pop up blocker or something that blocks crap like that. Now I can enjoy this classic from real MCs without anything that's a distraction.
A Dislike button on this is sacrilegious, and it's offensive that cats press the down-turned thumb just to fuck it up for every Hip-Hop head who KNOWs perfectly well that this is FIRE!!! Opinions are not required on Rakim's joints: it's either Dope or it's Dope, that's all.
5% god Rakim Allah even in a show he was like that kept you mesmirized like you were seeing greatness from the entrance with the throne chair spinning around and the fog then he stood up and ripped it. eric b was like on a dj stand bout 15 ft up and he rose up on like a platform. like 25 yrs later i still remember this

It amuses me that people are peddling "How To Rap books,"and here is Hip-Hop's most erudite brother spitting lava - and where did he learn this from? Well, it wasn't a fucking book, that's for sure! It's called swag, talent, skillz!
Rakim comes through 100% - a sick, incomparable, unmatched brother - the Ali of Hip--Hop; he's just off-the-ropes on-point! The 18th Letter is faultless, and so is The Master album. Just his flow, use of metaphores, the ability to flow on a beat like a crest of some perfect wave - each time I listen to this brother, the more I understand why he's given the HIGHEST title in the game, one which cannot be eclipsed: "God MC".

@oopsidroptmywallet goood to hear theres always kids like us who want the good ol classics. Here are some good artists. Slick Rick, KRS One, Nas, Big Punisher, Blackstar, Mos Def. The Roots.
@oopsidroptmywallet heres my top 10 rappers 1. 2Pac 2. Nas 3. Big L 4. Big Pun 5. Rakim 6. The Notorious B.I.G. 7. Kool G Rap 8. Eazy E 9. Fort Minor 10. Common
@antonooooo "Feel Good" Fancy "N.T." Kool & the Gang "Midnight Theme" Manzel "Tutti Frutti" Little Richard "Sofistifunk" Return to Forever "Beat Bop" Rammellzee vs. K Rob "The Jam" Graham Central Station "Soul Power ’74" Maceo & the Macks "Impeach the President" The Honey Drippers "Pass The Peas" "Hot Pants Road" The JB's "Action Speaks Louder than Words" Chocolate Milk "I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More, Babe" B White "I'm Black & I'm Proud", "Papa Don't Take No Mess""Don't Tell It" J Brown
Rakim = better than 2pac and Biggie, just because they died they get it all! this guy created this style of rhyming, why isn't he as well known as big stars like Elvis and MJ? this dude is hip hop, it's like the way the rolling stones and the beetles get there respect in rock n roll, there's people in my neighbourhood in England who don't even know Rakim! @thejamesdolce Some of these rappers know better but its the kids that like this new crap. They only doing what the kids like to hear. I heard Twista make a comment similar to this in an interview because that's what he's doing..........what the kids like. Anything to keep him relevant.
Honestly this is one of my least favorite Eric B. & Rakim song. But it still gets me bumping my head and grooving so had. How can you dislike anything by them it is all golden.
" some of you been tryin' to write rhymes for years/ but week ideas irritate my ears/ is this the best that you can make? cause if not, if you got more, i'll wait" -- am I the only one who thinks that part was funny?
Word to >"Daddy Kane"< Indeed, The "R" is a Rollin Stone, so Im Rollin, "Directions were told Then", "The Rhymes Are Stolen".
I want to see who keep Following and swallowing, Taking the Makings , Biting And Borrowing. "Rhymes Are As Deep As X-Rays". Far as The Eye could See, Not even A Satelite. No One On Rakim's Level...
Did anyone happen to catch Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown - CSI) making his cameo appearance in this video? WOW...!

Hello Everyone!
It’s Music that’s keeping me alive.
My life is so difficult and the only thing to forget my problems is the Music.
All of you will think I’m crazy but you’re wrong
Because singing and writing I can be who really I am.
I’m so grateful because now I can smile, dreaming, screaming. (And I owe it all to music and to god)
Well, I made some covers and I just upload it to my channel and I’ll be grateful if you stop by my channel and check it out.
Thank you so much!!

Microphone fiend doesn't even have one million views! from now I'm starting a war! copy this on every youtube video to get Rakim even bigger!

@thejamesdolce Some of these rappers know better but its the kids that like this new crap. They only doing what the kids like to hear. I heard Twista make a comment similar to this in an interview because that's what he's doing..........what the kids like. Anything to keep him relevant.
