If yo do the math, ANWR would supply the US oil consumption for about 500 days. Is it worth it to drill in a wildlife refuge for 500 days worth of oil? The cost of oil will triple as China and many other countries move their people to middle class. THE US CANNOT STOP THIS
Global oil costs will still be in the hands that have the most of it, IE Saudi Arabia.

This man is making a great statement. What would happen if truckers who deliver diesel simply refuse to deliver any until prices of diesel come down to a level where they should be? One theory as to the high price of diesel is that refiners in this country are shipping so much overseas to reap the higher price they can get there.

Every 10 billion barrels of our own oil we extract is more than $1 trillion we put into the US economy. More good family wage jobs! Lower food and fuel prices! Less money to terrorist sponsor countries! Less money to speculators! Many political campaigns, which strongly support energy independence, are starved of funds. Help them out!!!!!

Dump the incumbents who have blocked energy independence! Get involved and put businessmen into government - people who understand supply and demand, and don't use working class pain to sell their agenda.

Starkforcongress, I would shake your hand if I saw you in person. You're doing a great thing by advertising this message. I signed the petition and just sent out a mass email to my family. Congress needs to get their heads out of their collective asses and start drilling already!!
