@xpo166 I was about an hour and a half out on the course (approx. 18 mph). Other people were taking it faster; a lot of people were taking it a lot easier, which was fine.
Yes, it's almost entirely flat (a little up and down, from the beach to the bluffs, but no major climbs), and it's a sweet course, blocked for the footrace that comes later, so you don't have to stop every half-mile for a red light. You can put the pedal down and go!
I'll probably do it again this year too. Good fun!
I finished in 1:28:56, about 4.5 minutes behind you. You might see yourself in some of the shots that show oncoming traffic. (I was a little faster last year, at 1:25:38, but I'm not complaining. It's fun to take it pell-mell at whatever speed and not have to worry about stop lights and cross traffic anywhere.)
Very well done and thanks for sharing. My wife and I will be doing this for the first time next month, just can't wait.

Nicely done. How long did it take you to complete the 26.2 miles? It looked like you were really doing well. I completed it in 1:24:29, a PR for me.
