  • I agree with many of your videos, in that these rodeos are extremely cruel to animals. However, being a girl that rides in rodeos that don't involve bucking and wrestling animals, but still has roping (without tugging and choking, etc) this is quite common in young steers. Also, by the looks of the horse, the rider was too rough, but was struggling to get the horse to slow. They love to chase the cows! This is exaggerated in my opinion and the steer was fine, a common mishap that is never serious

  • @katelynlactteh He didn't have to flank the steer all the way down to the gate. He knew he wasn't getting a time. The hazer turned off, he could have as well.

  • @SHARKonlineorg I agree, except like I said, the horse was probably struggling against his hand and was difficult to slow down. Even though the rider is in control, the horse can still very well do anything it wants and probably chose to continue to chase the cow, as it's been trained to do. None of this is with the intention to hurt an animal.

  • @katelynlactteh Horses do not love to be owned and controlled and cows do not love being chased. Owning, dominating, and exploiting animals for human use IS cruel.

  • He should have slowed down, but alot of steers would just stop instead of going through the gate.

  • @teonnamae The rider was flanking him right to the gate at a full run. No steer would have stopped.

  • However you try to explain the riders actions...this video title says it all! Cruel, cruel, cruel!!!

  • He wasn't "running the steer in the fence" he was running the steer to the end of the arena so he could go back to his pen and they didn't open the gate up fast enough so he ran into the fence. Its almost like you running away from someone and someone shutting the door right before you run in it, you'd hit it

  • @teonnamae He could have stopped/turned halfway down the arena and the steer would have kept its direction and slowed down for the yahoos to open the gate. The rider was in the wrong.

  • @SHARKonlineorg Keep whining manchild.

  • @TheNormOne The whiners are the rodeo people who don't want us showing these abusive incidences.

  • @TheNormOne, LOL! Hey, I've seen this happen, cutting horses can and do run the steer into the fence/wall/whatever. Not at full speed, never to harm. Chase a prey animal, it starts to run blind. Yahoos wanting to run the legs off the stock is hardly proper stockmanship. Rodeo rules don't apply anywhere else.

Your own mid-life crisis is fascinating. Really. To you.

  • why won't you post my comments...?

  • @dirtyfingernails72 Your comments are all over this page.

  • red neck cowboys

  • technically the gate guy is "at fault" but in reality nobody is. he was chasin the steer back to where he needed to go.

  • @GoldEyedNickCLover We pity any animal in your 'care'.

  • poor horse is being gagged! take off that bridle

  • Honestly, we should be concerned with HUMAN rights at this moment in civilization. we are losing Liberty by the minute. I don't agree with rodeo. But there are far more critical injustices going around like unjust wars killing humans. Now get ready for our piece of shit government to declare war on Iran.My point is you are not going to get rodeo outlawed. (to much money on it) Its going to be up to the individual humans to decide whether or not that they want to partake in that stupidity.

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2 So you think rodeo animal abuse, all animal abuse, should be allowed to go on unchecked? You think no one should do anything about it?

  • I don't know what is harder to believe. either that a guy finds a steer running into a fence abuse or that sheltered people look up to you for all you do. Pigeon shootings Good Job! i agree there's a better way to get rid of those birds. Rodeo...? Its a deeply rooted american tradition, America's oldest known sport. It evolved from a industrial business. That steer wrestler didn't give up and he would've jumped until he pulled his horse back at the last 20 feet.

  • @dirtyfingernails72 ""he would've jumped"" Why didn't he? Oh, right. He didn't want to hit the fence, but it was okay to run the animal into it.

  • @SHARKonlineorg he didn't jump cause he obviosly didn't catch up to the steer. but you can't give up cause you get a bad start. and if you look at the vid the fault lies with the gate man. the steer didn't run into the fence it got its horns caught. the gate man should've opened the gate more or kept it closed, the steer wasn't going to run into the fence.

  • @dirtyfingernails72 The hazer saw it was a busted run and pulled back. The other yahoo didn't have to keep chasing the animal as he did.

  • @SHARKonlineorg the hazer pulled back cause the steer was running to the left. he pulled back enough to hope the steer would come back enough to make a run. as many rodeos as you guys go to you'd think you would know something about rodoe by now. you obvoisly don't...

  • @dirtyfingernails72 When the steer cut to the left of the wrestler and ran along the fence, the idiot should have pulled back and let the steer slow down to enter the gate and not chase it at a full run. It was obvious it was a busted run.

  • @dirtyfingernails72 Just because something is a tradition doesn't mean it's right. I am an avid horseback rider and I see the horse as something very traditional and heroic about America. But I do not abuse animals. Rodeos DO.

  • @dirtyfingernails72 Its a deeply rooted southern and western American thing. Educated people aren't into this.

  • @87bigdude excuse me? educated people arent into this? thank you, i'm in college with very good grades, on my way to a degree in Agriculture, and i was raised in the rodeo life. watch what you say.

  • @GoldEyedNickCLover Ever hear the term book smart, common sense stupid? Look in the mirror.

  • @dirtyfingernails72 Oldest know sport really?? NO its not, it is an old sport that shows how stupid we were back then though, you think humanity would have changed??

  • The only good ting about Rodeo's is the occasional human having his spine snapped. Very funny.

  • fucking american mother dog cow fuckers

    ,

  • Never knew rodeos could be so...abusive. But then again, never knew much about them to start with.

  • @crazymike65 There's not much to know about them than what your eyes see. Thanks for your post.

  • I'm not defending rodeo but I see that cowboy trying to stop his horse. He is sitting back, pulling on the reins, and that horses mouth is open from the bit pressure. Those horses are trained to run down to the end and stop. Not before. Once a horse learns a pattern, it's hard to pull them off of it.

  • @angelajg01 Yes, once the animal he's chasing has nowhere to go but into the fence. He could have stopped or turned the horse before then.

  • @crazymike65 This is no sport. Rodeo is like putting a cat in a cage and poking it with a stick.

  • I dont support rodeos, but seriously?

"He purposely ran the steer into the fence"

I laughed. What does the cowboy get from doing that? He isn't thinking

"Okay, im losing so what I need to do is keep running and slam the steer into the fence. Slam it into the fence. That's my game plan."

I do know that there is abuse at some rodeo but not all. I ride saddlebreds, I hear a lot of "you sore your horses and abuse them!" i dont though. Your videos are mellodramatic and stereotypical on rodeos.

  • @cheweyischewey And yet, there's the yahoo on the video purposely running the animal into the fence.

  • @SHARKonlineorg See? This is what makes me laugh! Answer this question for me.

What does he earn by doing that?

  • @cheweyischewey He wasn't going to earn anything anyway because he timed out with that run.

  • @SHARKonlineorg Then why would he slam the steep into the fence if he doesn't benifit from it?!?!

  • @cheweyischewey Sore loser. Frustration. Stupidity. All of the above.

  • @SHARKonlineorg find something better to do then "purpousely slammed a steer into a fence" do something on global warming and endangered animal or save the rainforest.

  • @cheweyischewey You'd like that. You'd like all the abuse at rodeo to remain hidden or whitewashed. But that's not going to happen. As long as rodeo abuses animals, we're going to expose its ugliness.

  • did you see how he was pulling on his horses mouth? dumb ass needs a bit shoved in his mouth and yanked on like that...then he needs to be run into a fence.

  • Lol. Stupid. Stick to shit that has a point and effects me.

  • @woody0900 You're insignificant.

  • Some things may seem cruel, but this cowboy wasn't trying to hurt the cow he was making the best of a bad run, by training his horse to stay in position (which is up beside the steer). If you take advantage of times like that to keep your horse tracking correctly he will do better the next rodeo.

  • @1sthopheeler ""If you take advantage of times like that to keep your horse tracking correctly he will do better the next rodeo."" Running one animal full force into a stationary object is another animal's lesson?

  • Ya'll need to get a life. Long Live Cowboys!

  • @Kyle47425 These are wanker wannabes in costumes, not cowboys.

  • The animal in this particular video wasn't injured, at least not nearly to the extent that other Shark videos show. But that's not the point... the point of the video is to demonstrate the attitude of the contestants towards the animals. Running it into the wall out of revenge, and no one says anything. It doesn't matter that the animal was okay, just shows how little rodeo people care about the animals.

  • Fucktards my new insalt specially for them basterds he probs beat his horse after too I bet ya !!!!!!!

  • America - Where a 200 year old piece of paper allows you to do what ever you want!

  • He was NOT running the steer into the gates. He BARELY hit the gate and when he did hit the gate, he went straight through the return alley... You know absolutely NOTHING about rodeo and your videos really annoy.. You need to find a new hobby.. Are you a vegetarian? If not, you really need to think.. Think about what happens when they go to the slaughter houses to be made into hamburger meat.. And yes, i am a barrel racer, and a cattle woman..

  • @SoShezaHotty The costumed yahoo had plenty of time to pull up but instead ran the animal into the fence. Defend it all you want, it's right there on the video.

  • @SHARKonlineorg that calf woulda kept running, and he did NOT "run" the calf into the fence the calf did that himself, and like u said its right there on the video, the calf running himself into the fence.

  • @brockelbers61 With a make believe 'cowboy' right behind it on horseback chasing it.

  • @SoShezaHotty

your a cattle woman and your into rodeo?

I'm a keeper of horses, sheep and eat home grown beef and lamb. Real people who care for the lives of livestock do not rodeo them. Grow up and learn, little miss "SoShezaHotty" for the boys.

  • @barbsinclair If you care about the lives of "livestock" then don't consider them "livestock" at all but as sentient persons deserving of respect and the right to not be used as property and resources. If you care about them do not treat them as objects to use. Go vegan!

  • @SoShezaHotty Rodeos kill & injure animals................FACT ! Find yourselves another sport that does not put animals at risk. Why should these poor beasts suffer for your fun ? Moron !!

  • All in a day's total waste of time, at the rodayo. Cattle work best when they work slow. Get their fear factor going, they don't think. They just run. Lovely set of hands on the guy, eh? Horse just loves having that big old spade digging into his palate, long-shanked bit breaking down his bars. Typical of open-mouthed horsemanshit. I wonder if ANY abuse supporter will ever answer my question.. Haven't had one yet. Why do the broncs gape their mouths? Are they trying to tell ya something? Hello?

  • The cow barely hit the wall I'm not saying its not cruel some of the events are but the animals bred for that and the calve in the video wasn't even hurt. My point is if you don't like it don't watch.

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING ""I'm not saying its not cruel"" So, what are you saying? That's it cruel but so what because you enjoy it?

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING, you sure like watching your dog hump a pillow, so I guess your eyeballs are already screwed. It's not a "calve", it's a steer. It's a prey animal, which means it runs because it's scared/being chased. "Bred for abuse" is what you really meant.

  • This is appalling! Keep up the great work.

  • What I'm getting tired of is when you have horses, people automatically think you rodeo. NO people actually DO appreciate their beautiful animals. These morons shouldn't have animals because they obviously don't appreciate them nor their beauty. I think that people that do this to animals should have it done to them, see how they like it. No one and nothing deserves to be manipulated and embarrassed by a human like this.

  • Wow this is just too funny. All you pathetic people and your better than thou additudes if you don't like it don't fucking watch it, issue solved

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING We realize you like animals being used like trash by rodeo people. But decent people don't.

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING If you people didn't abuse animals because they were bad at playing cowboy we wouldn't even have a video to watch. Don't abuse animals. "Fucking" retard. (:

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING It's not about watching, it's about when this crap goes on, animals are toyed with and suffer in the process and it's just not right. Issue solved.

  • At home I have a 3 year old Black Thoroughbred gelding that we saved from slaughter coz while racing he injured his rear right leg and couldnt be sent to stud coz he's a gelding. My mom spent a lot of money nursing who we now call "Ammo" back to health, he loves when I ride him at full gallop and we also practice jumping. It breaks my heart to see any animal treated like the one in this video! I wish I could save them all! :'(

  • @Shazzy172 Thanks for your post.

  • Why is he chasing that poor cow? What was the point of it?

I totally support your work, Please don’t ever give up I’m sure if the victims of the things you expose knew they’d be thankful of your work.

  • @BibiTheRat We appreciate your post and support, thank you.

  • lol it didnt hit that hard its fine dont worry

  • @Jxkilla ""lol it didnt hit that hard"" Another rodeo apologist laughs about an animal.

  • @SHARKonlineorg lmao ive never even been to a rodeo im just saying for all the worried people the cow will probably be ok.

  • @Jxkilla Never said you were. But you are defending the idiots, so there's the association factor.

  • @Jxkilla ha can you say pathetic?

  • @barrelracer2146, no, that would apply to your videos. Talk about craptastic riding, wowza. Your seat is supposed to stay IN the saddle, not bouncing all over the poor guy's kidneys. But hey, in rodeo, craptastic riding is the norm, so you're probably a freakin' professional.

Oh, and slamming your whole leg against his sides? Not so good.At least in the real world. Rodeo world? Bad is normal.

  • why don't u just bomb the place -__- just a thought :S

  • @SuperBUGGzBUNNY We will blanket them with the truth. The truth is what they fear, and it is what will bring the cruelty to an end.

  • Damn I thought we were done with these cowboy assholes and their childish games

  • Subscribed. Never stop, SHARK.

  • You people are a bunch of tree hugging animal rights activist, its fuckin RODEO if you can't COWBOY UP and watch go fuck a tree or something its not just rodeo its a way of life those cowboy spend lots of time ensureing that their horse are well taken care of

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING Thank you for demonstrating what a rodeo person is like.

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING Oh YEAH, we've SEEN how "well" you deadstock breeders and cowmorons take care of your horses! especially the ones with BROKEN legs hauled around back and killed.

People like you don't DESERVE fine animals

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING "Way of life"? Dude, this isn't the 1800's. These are weekend cowboys.

  • @Chrisdrumz and even in the 1800s it wasn't done this way. They are kidding themselves if they think they're real cowboys.

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING Even if you take better care of your horse than anybody else it means nothing as soon as you treat another creature like dirt. They only care about THEIR horses not the lives of the poor animals who are slamming into the ground and being flung into the air with a rope around their necks or any of the other victims of their pathetic, crul and backward way of life.

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING WOW! I'm pretty sure that is the most Generic Rodeo Comment I have ever heard. The words "cowboy up, Tree huger, and way of life" were used. You do Realize that these are things we have heard a Thousand times before, and have absolutely no meaning to us, at all. I know I'm not alone when I say that I am not offended in any way shape or form, by what you have said.

  • @RivalQUICKScopeKING I spend tons of time making sure my horses are well taken care of too...but once my horses have had top care I don't around and hurt other animals. Weekend rodeos aren't a way of life. Owning a rach...that's a way of life. Most ranch owners don't go to rodeos...they have a ranch at home to run. I would love to know-Why would you defend them? Why do you think it's okay for him to run a cow into a wall or why is it okay for them to use jerk downs? Please tell me!.

  • I used to into the whole cowgirl thing, wanted to barrel race or rope(breakaway) and I always loved going to rodeos but not anymore. I have since grown up and I see things so differently now, my sister used to always tell me she wouldn't go to one because they were so cruel and I see that myself also. Your videos are true eye openers for anyone and the people in them should be ashamed of themselves.

  • The horse is not happy to play the game either...

  • It looked like the steer new where he was running to because he opened the door and kept on running?

  • @jmaritz328 Yes, the animals usually know where the gate to escape is, and they run right for it in their effort to save themselves from abuse and possible injury or death. The communication from these animals is so clear for anyone with more than a single digit IQ. It is shameful that this abuse is openly allowed in so much of the US.

  • @SHARKonlineorg Its very sad, just yesterday I saw a post on a facebook animal rescue sight where a dogs face was completely blown off after two boys in Bosnia duck taped it shut and light a christmas firecracker in it. Then they left him to die in the streets for 5 days till someone found and rescued him. They one get prosecuted if enough people sign a petition to send them to the maximum prison sentence possible... I honestly do hate rodeos though, no matter where or for what. Especially the

  • @SHARKonlineorg the bucking broncos.. Just breaks my heart.

  • god bless your work sir

  • @suoganraistrick On behalf of the entire team, thank you.

  • has Cheyenne abuse days ever contacted you about your youtube video postings (like a letter from their legal rep)? you are doing animals and responsible humans a very needed public service. keep the camera rolling SHARKonlineorg.

  • @roaringwaterbay Cheyenne has pulled some funny business to try to stop us. A few years ago they briefly banned cameras, but caught so much backlash that they quickly backtracked. There have been a couple times they tried to block filming during injuries. Each time that effort included a CFD committee head running the effort to block. They are getting desperate, and they are neither smart enough nor ethical enough to understand that they need to stop the abuse, not try to block the cameras.

  • @SHARKonlineorg I remember watching a video, and I am pretty sure it was from shark. It was about one of your female investigators who was filming, and their were two redneck women behind her, pouring water on her and stuff. Do you know what I am talking about? wanted to show it to my friend

  • @cammarkgross It's on Blip TV, called "Rodeo Family Values." Will send you a link privately for convenience.

  • @SHARKonlineorg Thank you!

  • Rodeos should be banned !!!!! Thanks for standing up for the animals SHARK.

  • I just cannot believe they call this rodeo. This is not rodeo! Rodeo involves respect to all the contestants AND the animals!! It's people like this that give us a bad name!

  • This is so shameful. Those idiots have no right to do those horrible things to animals.

  • cocksuckin cowboy

  • Am I missing something here? Isn't this the event where they jump on the steers and ram them into the ground? All I see is the guy gave up and ran the steer to the end where they corral them up.

Isn't the actual event more cruel than what happened in this video or am I missing something? It looks like the corral isn't open like it should be, but I'm not sure he ran the steer into the side on purpose. And if he did, how is that more cruel than the normal event?

  • @2011blueman The steer got away, and should have been left alone. The Cheyenne arena is extraordinarily long, and it was obvious within a few seconds that this guy was out of the running. He took some eighteen seconds to take his revenge. The steer might have been injured or even killed. Take a run at a steel fence, and you'll find it to be a distinctly unpleasant experience.

  • What a spoil "sport" - Goes to show how these losers even when they do "lose" have to take it out on someone else. Embarrassing. Pathetic and sickening.

  • I guess you can mind read steve as you all ways seem to know what the people are thinking. While i agree you can protest what you want and i can protest what i want i never say what people are thinking as that is just stupid and arrogant

  • CREEP!!!!

  • for me as a person, I cannot listen to the announcers, they make everything even more horrible. What is the point in making fun of a scared, tormented victim whose doom is almost certain?

Come on, we do not live in medieval times, this is the 21. century!!! I guess they didn't arrive in this century.

  • i found the truth

  • Bully!! Pure Rodeo Trash.

  • Gosh this person makes me wanna scream! First off, he didn't even look like he was trying to get that steer because of the way he was yanking on his horse's mouth and sitting back in the saddle! It is sick how rodeo people can hurt these poor defenseless animals! Keep up the good work SHARK, the animals deserve it.

  • @Rodeosarecruel Yeah, and he also had a fairly severe bit in his horse's mouth, plus a standing martingale, which is a tie down, keeping the horse from raising his head too high, which helps him be a better bully. That way, the horse is limited to any reaction he may have to the rider's sloppy horsemanship skills. In other words, a monkey could ride a horse who is rigged up like this one is. Lovely Quarter Horse, but well trained horses don't need all this.

  • Don't be too hard on these rodeo cowboys. They were probably victims of poor parenting. They probably don't understand pain, suffering, and the like because of the neanderthal conditions that they were probably raised in. Sad, but probably true.

  • @walk4trot2canter3 We can be as hard as we like to these buggers!

Victims of poor parenting still have VOICES to say that they are hurting/suffering/uncomfortable.

Victims of poor parenting have the CHOICE to go to social services, or move out at 18 forever.

THESE animals have no VOICE or CHOICE.

Typical human sticking up for your unworthy species. I HATE HUMANS. I'm ashamed to be one.

  • @JillyMacVideos I was being sarcastic. I'm with you, though, as the animals with no voice and no choice are stuck being "cared for" and owned by folks who only think of what fun they can have using animals. And I feel how you feel about hating humans for their ignorance in dealing with animals. They make me ashamed to be a human, too. But we continue to live in their world, so we have to stick together and fight against the suffering of animals.

  • DON'T HURT INNOCENT ANIMALS!

  • @Alex4life1999 All animals are innocent.

  • No matter how many times I see it I'm always surprised at how terrible people can be evil to animals

  • @stationZero1 There seems to be no limit to their despicable behavior.

  • I can't believe this is still a "sport" let alone such a popular one. The amount of animals that have their legs broken, trachea's damaged and throats ripped is utterly disgusting.

Why wouldn't he run it into a fence? It's just a thing and deserves no respect or kindness.

  • This makes me sick.

  • I'm from Louisiana and that guy does not represent me!

  • @JennyTheSpazz Understood. It is sad that these people are a blight on Americans in general.

  • bunch of idiots. I don't get how these 'people' at the audience don't feel even a bit of compassion for the animals, I don't get how do they even go there, seriously what king of a incredibly undeveloped forms of life enjoy this, this pure abuse and I'm not even going to mention the (so pathetic) ''cowboys''. I would love to work with You to help these animals but I'm just too young and I live far away from America. You all who work for SHARK should get medals from the president for your work.

  • @KoniaraBelina1234 Thank you, and we appreciate your support.

  • What disgusting people. I thought cowboys were supposed to tend cattle, not abuse them.

  • They disgust me

  • Such disrespectful people.

It's rather sad that people actually think these are real cowboys...are they balls?!
