  • awsome

  • you must do more stakato man, this isnt real in any way

  • Great instruction man, much better than the other vids on site.

  • 38 people liked this tutorial SO MUCH that they accedently pressed dislike!how funny is that?!

  • @doubletrouble04 It's not.

  • what guitar does he have?

  • The most overplayed song by beginner guitarists in the world.... lol

  • That is a fantastic lesson!

  • You play so hot. I actually learned something.

  • jimi hendrix oringally wrote this song i think

  • @mfguitar10 Jack Bruce and Clapton attended a Jimi Hendrix show in london Jan1967. Inspired by Hendrix's performance, Bruce returned home and wrote the memorable bass riff that runs throughout the song. Most of the lyrics to "Sunshine of Your Love" were written during an all-night creative session between Bruce and Brown. Pete looked out the window and the sun was coming up 'It's getting near dawn and lights close their tired eyes" Clapton wrote the chorus which also yielded the song's title.

  • @kingofkaoss ok thx

  • @mfguitar10 I thought it was Cream?

  • @Metallicafan2454 so did i at first until i got the purple haze album and saw sunshine of your love and it turned out jimi wrote it

  • @mfguitar10 Jimi did not write Sunshine of Your Love. It was Cream. Jimi covered it

  • @mfguitar10 just because it's on someone's album doesnt mean they wrote it, lucy in the sky with diamonds is on one of Elton John;s cds, but if you have any knowledge of music, it was written by The Beatles

  • @Metallicafan2454 it was cream

  • I have real troubles doing vibrato. It really hurts my hand like a bitch/ any tips?

  • @mosnaidei just keep doing them till it stops hurting. thats what i did and it worked

  • @TheSuperMerc thats what she said.

  • Tell them whining bitches their lucky you took the effort to teach their no-talent asses a song in the first place! Wow, for free they must wan't Clapton to come to their houses with crayons and poster board and slowly teach them how he did it note for note. Thanks for the lesson man!

  • how thanks y learn that in only 10 minutes

  • Yer woman tone!

  • what kind of guitar is that??????

  • To everyone this is the best version out there

  • do you have to use any type of pedal for this song?

or any gain on the amp?

  • @80srockforeverplz what i do when i play it is play with moderate to heavy distortion on the neck pickup with the tone nob rolled down almost all the way. from then you can set the treb mid and bass how you like it on your amp, no pedals are needed. I hope this helps.

  • @foolintherain100 thanks soooooo much!

    That helped a lot!

  • @80srockforeverplz no problem

  • muy buen acancion a todos nos gusta

  • solo tuturial

  • this is the right way to play it, thanks a lot man!! A+++

    watch?v=Cqh54rSzheg

  • your guitar turns me on!!!

  • Haha, great joke, FretKiller - Love it!

  • good guitar lesson

  • Thats really good, I used to only use single notes, like in the intro, I never noticed that there were chords and the 12 and 10 on the G and B strings, thank you for the vid!

  • saw jack bruce live sunday night at wolftrap ago he played it live along with it nsu , poltitian

and glad , I feel free , and whiteroom.

mitch ryder was also there as was rare earth and war.

  • Thanks heaps, works really well, all the best

  • you should sing to it!

  • What kind of guitar is that?

  • @metalhead02904

Judging from the look of the pick-ups, it looks like some sort of Gretsch to me

  • he's pro AND YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT Hahaha..muhahaha... eh?

    ...

  • do you use a pedal if do message me

  • how many knew that clapton superimposed "blue moon " as the guitar solo in this song? wickedly clever.

  • This guitar has a verry cool saund

  • I just wanted to point out that this song was a tribute to Jimi Hendrix and his way of playing the thumbed movable F formation not a barred chord. The funny thing was that Jimi played it as a tribute to Eric on the Lulu show not knowing it was a tribute to him in the first place.

  • fuck yeah dude!!!!!!!!thi is what i was looking for!!!!thnx man!

  • awesome easy vid to follow. keep up the good work dude

  • I am having serious trouble on the power chord. it is sounding higher than the expected pitch any advice?

  • @NonahProductions

try checking whether you're fretting the correct notes....or,maybe your guitar is not in standard tuning......

  • @NonahProductions Just learning this now myself, it sounded high to me, then I strummed more on the low strings, E - A - D, and it sounded better. Hope that helps.

  • nice!~

  • he ¡¡¡¡¡ thanks for your video and yours lesons for guitar you are asom, i want a now the mark of the guitar and model and the amplifier in the video

  • Very good man!!!!

  • no... no way that sounds exactly like the song man... nice dude 11 outa 10

    Thanks for posting !!!

  • no the intro/verse riff is not played with power chords. only the chorus.

  • YOU ARE GREAT MAN!!!!!!

  • awesome thanks great lesson

  • really. why would you look up a lesson if you knew how to play it. i dont think how much you realize how much of a jump it is to watch free videos to learn guitar instead of earing everything out, or paying for lesson.

  • jdawg, I think you're a little bitch

  • @jdawg1226 you're the biggest noob i know, shut the hell up and buy a guitar before you talk little noob.

  • @jdawg1226

Congrats you've demonstrated what a troll looks like, way to go!

  • I like your tone, sounds very Black Sabbath-type.

  • really well done and if ya wanna learn the solo to go with it which makes this look like a cake walk look a how to play sunshine of love solo and the guys user name Bobbycrispy and play it and shows the tabs and pretty right on i got it down after like a month but i'm not that great but its awesome stuff

  • hello, I wanted to say you play very well and would like to know how to accommodate my amp to achieve a sound well, because I want to play that song, I appreciate a reply, thanks!

  • hes using a metal distortion, or a crunch. When hes picking the notes out he makes it squeal by keeping his thumb at the bottom of the pick, best way to explain it is look up pinched harmonics. Hes not quite doing it but if u learned them u would easly figure out how hes making the sound he does.

  • he says he plays every string at 2:54...but if you look on the begining, he wont play every one, only 4..G, D, A and E...looooool

  • Great job !! Do you know what key this song is in??

  • Your right on the tempo and the tone.

It's a difficult song to duplicate and easy one to play.

  • you play such a good tone!!

  • Wow it sounds nice with that distortion...well,i think it's distortion.

  • How many guitarists does it take to screw in a light bulb? Ten. One to screw in the bulb while the other nine talk about how Clapton would've done it. A nice presentation that teaches some classic rock-blues riffs.

  • @Fretkillr

    How true.

  • @Fretkillr So it really only takes one.

  • @Fretkillr I believ that joke sound sbetter when applied to mexicans.... :D
