  • great video as always, i just tried my first atty/tank on my standard innokin leo (not the 510 threaded version) and like i you i find that it's......not bad. but not near as good as the 1.5ohm dual coil carto's for the leo, those things put out killer vapor and flavor. i kind of like the idea of the "no filler" system though so i might stick with this for a bit.

  • Super good video. I just ordered 70 of these to put in my store and Innokin says we have to sell the kit at 59.99 so that is not a bad price. I like the smok tech carto for the warmer TH.and richer vapor production but I an.not a fan of any tank system.

  • hi pbusardo, you mention about warm vapor, how can i get warm vapor from my egot?what kind of tanks or carto can make this warm vapor out of eGo battery?thanks phil

  • @whitebeardpirate5 You can try pushing more power to it, but they're really not made for that and you may wind up with a burnt taste. For a warmer vapor on an eGo batt, you may try a 1.5 dual coil carto.

  • @pbusardo thanks phil you r the best

  • Phil, as usual, great review. I prefer the 510-T setup on an eGo battery. But the ability to put a cap over it would be nice. The LEA's cap only fit if you had a LEA atty on it. Are the threads for the cap on the atty or the battery? Thanks!

  • @RangrPat I'd have to take a look tonight. I'll try to remember.

  • I still keep going back to my eGOs; using eGO passthrough mostly at home and a mid-sized regular one while on the go. I've tried the VVV eGOs and they were nice when they worked. I have a 3.7 volt mod and a VV mod that goes up probably to 6 volts (just plain battery box mods, but they work just fine). I learned I don't need high voltage. I wouldn't mind having just the battery and cap from this device. I can wait. Great review! You sure know how to tinker with your toys. ;)

  • @creativeplanetjanet Ha! My wife says the same thing ;-) Thanks!!

  • Thanks for another great review. You said it came with a standard 510 connection so I guess this would work with the standard Boge/Smoktech LR cartos if you wanted. It didn't look like it, but were there cap threads compatible with the eGo cone threads? If so would the mega XL cartos out there work on it?

  • @ZeroRed78 Standard cartos will work. Recessed connection cartos (ie for cone threads) will not.

  • The Leo was my first unit, and nothing else I tried outside a Mod was better. If the battery is that much better, I might pick some of those up.

I will miss the big old Leo LR dual coil cartos though!

  • @deadpool809 BE CAREFUL HERE!! The Leo Pro is not the proprietary connection that the original LEO was. Also, if you're enjoying the Leo LR cartos, you may not like a tank system!

  • @pbusardo oh, I know. Like I said, I will miss the old Leo cartos! I definitely don't like the Tank system, I tried the Leo-T and I gave it away... didn't like it.

My Leo has become my "I'm going out fishing on my kayak and I don't mind if I lose THAT battery" unit. Depending on the price, if the battery life is as good as you are reporting, I might switch it up. If it has a standard 510 connector, no reason I can't just buy the battery when it comes out solo.

  • @pbusardo

I'd love to see the battery itself compared to the old Leo battery, and maybe another similar sized-battery.

  • I love the translation for 'bah in' lol

  • @evelwmn I'm there for ya!

  • @evelwmn Decided to poke fun at myself in this vid a bit.

  • @pbusardo Hey Phil - I think most of the people in the U.S. (even those who speak very well) pronounce button pretty much like you do. It is kinda funny though and I enjoyed your little "clarifications." =))

  • @evelwmn me too! Whenever I hear certain words (like button and water) pronounced correctly, it just sounds wrong! I'm from Ohio and we say buh'ns and wahder, like the t's are very soft and almost swallowed.

  • Another great review. I am very intrigued by the PWM technology being used to control the heat temperature of the coil instead of the straight DC voltage and current that inevitably runs the coil hotter and eventually burns it out. Once this PWM tech is refined a little more, we should start seeing more consistent vapes and longer life spans on Atty's and Carto's. I can't wait for a Variable PWM device that lets users select the voltage and duty cycle on a PV.

  • @MrSteelMage You want to put MORE control in the hands of the vaper? :-) At the enthusiast level perhaps but could you imagine voltage AND duty cycle in the hands of the average vaper? Most of the vapers I know still have a hard time with LR vs. NR :-)

  • Have Janty sent you an EVO to review. Scott had some issues with the company. Interested to hear what your thoughts are.

  • @midnightmosesuk Oh yeah, I watched Scott's Janty comments. Very interesting. The EVO I reviewed however was not from Janty.

  • Phil I think you gave me a new device to purchase. I like the finish of a pen and able to be used for a good amount of time. My new employer will not allow me to vape funny looking mods like an Omega, so I was leaning towards a Volt kit or even Bloog. But I would love an Ego battery without having to drip or refill cartomizers. Plus that new pulse width technology sounds like a great idea. Thanks for another awesome video.

  • @kirbysmusclecar My pleasure.

  • How about a review of that scope? That's pretty slick. What's the brand/model?

  • @bladebarrier333 DSO NANO V2 - got mine from Canakit.

  • Great review again Phil.... Bah-In = Button...lmao. Im still having issues with the wife's Ego-C and 100% VG juice from evaporclouds. I would still be hesitant on geting a tank system for me being as you have me hooked on Boba's and AVE Rootbeer :)

  • @faamecanic1970 Ha! Sorry I got you hooked. I don't wanna become known as the pusher-man :-). Interesting cause the eGo C when I used it with Boba's worked well, as did this device.

  • Thanks Phil :) Doesn't seem like a bad device but depending on the price it would not be something that I would recommend to someone since it only comes with the one battery :(

  • @Sintanous Tough call on this. If you think about it, a lot of the mods coming out these days only come with a single battery. THIS, however, does give you the ability to use it as a passthrough while the battery is charging so it's at least a little better than just a battery that you can't use while it's charging.

  • As always, pretty good preview, seems objective and informative. I don't think I would buy this device, but I probably would recommand it if the price is good, especially with only one atty/battery set. Thanks again Phil.

  • @MrArj2000 NP!

  • yeah, nice buh'in! lol

  • @genfelip Ha! I like pushing the bah-in while vape-in on a mou-in drinking a fou-in drink.

  • @pbusardo lmao! I had to read it a couple of times to get it all!

  • thanks for the heads up on not being a warm vape device. alot of ppl look for that., great review Phil and funny as always!

  • Once again Great review Phil. :) I still think that Innokin could make more changes to this device. Again great video, always very funny. Keep up the good work!

  • As always nice informative and entertaining review Phil. One suggestion however. You need to start talking about DRAW too Phil, maybe VTDF because lots of these devises have draw issues. We pretty much all know the draw of a Boge carto so a comparison to that would be great I would say. That scope BTW is sweet.

    Steve

  • @FlyBoyVideo Draw!! Well I'm not going to change my VTF :-) But good point, I'll add draw as a speaking point in the reviews. Good point.

  • Interesting stuff when you stuck the device on the scope, Phil. Have you ever tried measuring a proper (a Joye etc) eGo battery on one to see what it does? From memory, the eGos are putting out 3.3-3.5v measured on a standard multimeter.

  • @greenspagbol I have not. Sorry! But it is something I planned on doing.

  • no prices on there site either

  • @alor54 Yeah, that's cause they are a manufacturer. It's going to be up to vendors to purchase this device and set the price.

  • How many mHa is this unit? Thank you, nice review!

  • @todwcampbell Thanks very much and good point. Sorry!! The battery has a 1000 mAh rating. The video has been annotated.

  • Loving that scope! Interested about the pulse. Looks like a trend developing. I still don't think a pv's captured its full potential, yet. Meaning it's use of the pulse. How about leaks? I'm not a fan of those silicon caps. Also, do you think the atty's are compatible with the ego's? I'm assuming they are along the same lines. Quick tip with those atty's. If you take a small screw driver, you can push the wick in the spike about 1/4 way in & it vapes so much better. Especially 100% VG. ThanksP

  • @bsyarborough Thanks! If I don't mention leaking, I didn't experience it. However, there was some condensation and build up around the tank which could lead to it. I usually evaluate a device for 3-5 days before doing a review.

  • Cool beans:)
