no it doesnt fly on water...the blades hit the water and will cease the engine as they arent waterproofed. theres a vid of it somewhere here on utube.

you need to add lift to the ottom of it it slows it down but still works

it can if its a really really smooth surface, but we recommend hand launching it. it works much better!
