this is a replica! i can tell because my friend has one its looks virtually the same as the real one but the difference is in the materials the real one uses saphire crystal glass and the fake uses cheap glass.

Mick, the Carrera is a pure automatic whereas the Calibre S is a hybrid. Automatics 'sweep' whereas quartz and now hybrids 'tick'. Here is something from a Tag press release.

dimonalmaty: well, at first i thought the same way about the tag, but later when i examined the omega speedmaster day date, which is in the similar style, i realised that the omega with about 1,500 dollars more to pay than the tag, is actually the one which is over priced. Don't forget, omega is owned by the swatch group;) But the tag as far as i know, is independent.

Definitely authentic. I got one, i bought mine from one of tag's boutiques. I love this watch ever since i bought it, and i examnied every signle little details of it. I'm kind of a watch colletor, and i can tell u from the reflections of the light and all the little details that i could see on this fella's tag, i can absolutely say this watch is 100% authentic. Btw, i got a rolex oyster perpetual date, how much is it over there in australia?
