@Wilks89 Thanks for that. I'm really happy with the outcome. I still have a way to go with the physio, but it'd heading in the right direction. The main thing is, I'm on the bike again!
Glad to see you are all healed up and back on the bike. It's been a while since I rode too, looking forward to that first ride of spring. It must have been tough being off work for six months with all that spare time and not being able to do much.
@Swipe650 Hey Swipe, nice to see your pixels on the keyboard again. :) I wish that I had not erased the video of my 1st ride last week. You would have needed to turn down the volume...the "yeehaa's" and "yipee's" ( or words to that effect) would have deafened you. :) :) It was a bit frustrating, but I had a huge filming/editing project for our school's musical Joseph & the T/C dreamcoat, so I was busy. Looking forward to seeing you on the bike again too. Cheers. BB.
Glad to see you back on your feet and on two wheels again :D. Take it easy at work. Much respect for your career. Hope one day u can fly me overseas somewhere :D...maybe next holiday....whenever i get time off work -_-; speed safe :D
I'm so glad to see you back on the bike, and to hear the excitement in your voice when you talk about being back to work! Good job at holding to your therapy!! I'm very very happy for you. : )
Great to see you 'back on the kwak'. Gave me a smile.
As wind through traffic on the busiest sections of my commute, I can often catch the smell of gange wafting from a car window. Sadly its pretty prevalent. I'm so looking forward to getting sideswiped by some idiot who feels it necessary to blot out both coherent thought and the dull reality of the pointless life (s)he's fallen into by using drugs when driving rather than pay attention to the f**king road.
@Mainyard48 Yeah mate!! I started on Youtube sitting on a bike & expanded into other types of videos to increase my "repertoire". :) I did a long (900KM in 1 day) ride & vlogged it, and I felt like I had several people with me every time I was recording. i still feel the same when I'm vlogging..it's like I'm taking you all along for the ride.
Thanks mate. Some have suggested flying the heli while riding. :) yeeeeaaahh, no. :)
Glad to see you back on the bike, and happy New Year to you too! Those random checks must be quite common out your way. In all my (many!) years on the road, I've yet to be stopped once for a random check of any sort. I have, unfortunately, been stopped a few times for actual traffic violations!
@dprider02 Thanks dp. I guess you have been lucky in one sense, and not lucky in another. I'd really like to see a vlog of one of those stops you mentioned if you can "arrange it". LOL.
Well that video went quick, I enjoyed it too much :) Interesting info there, and glad to see your on the bike. 2011 (twenty-11) wasn't bad to me, I got my Trex600 and enjoyed flying it all year. Bought a house too (But I guess the negative is that now means I have a mortgage hey). Be great if 2012 is even better!
I bet you'll be glad to be at work again soon - wont you?!
@KWAKAPILOT I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it, I enjoyed making it....particularly the riding bit. The Trex 600's are awesome aren't they! Congrats on your new house..It's a great feeling isn't it. The mortgage isn't, but the fact that it's YOURS (read..the BANKS) is fantastic! I am really looking forward to work. I miss the actual flying. I also miss the "mateship" of the guys/girls I fly with.
@Kodiak31415 Thanks mate. I'm on a Kawasaki ER6F (Ninja 650R) with a few comfort mods added. Check out Part 1 of my "Where on Google Earth am I" series, where I run through my equipment.
@brotherblonde Well it's neat that you ride the same sort of motorcycle that I used to, but I was actually wondering about what airplane you fly. Your comment about having to take a check flight, and not just a sim checkride made me wonder as I'm pretty sure there are fully certified sim's for every Boeing product out there. Or do the regulations in Australia require check rides to be done in the actual aircraft?
@Kodiak31415 I fly the 767. Been on it for about 17 years as a Captain. I was a Check & Training Captain for a couple of years until the training stopped on that aircraft. I'm now an Auditor, where I get to ride on all our aircraft types.
Yep, Boeing have sims for each of their types, but every airline has different requirements for training & recurrent stuff. We are pretty strict with ours....thankfully. :)
Yahoooo BB and I am not talking about "7" either M8... I am glad you are getting better and are now able to ride again because I know it is a passion for you. Now that you can fly and ride you must almost feel normal again!!!
Congrats on the "back in the saddle" ride BB, I am happy for you mate! Don
Great to hear you are mending nicely! Nice plug for Yahoo7. ;) I never had to stop at a booze stop while on the motorcycle they just waved me by. I did tho while in the car no big deal really.
@britex3186 Thanks mate. This comment is sponsored by......:) Of the 2 times I've been stopped on the bike, one of the guys got me to talk into the thing with my helmet on AND trusted me when I told him my Licence was in the back of the bike. (It was)..Very quick & easy. The other time, they wanted everything.......they got it but it took me a looooong time to give it to them :)
Good to see you back on the bike mate! Glad you'll soon be flying again also! Cheers....

I was hoping to see some Level D goodness :(
kizza42 2 months ago
@kizza42 I used to have Level D but that was back in my PC days :(
The Xplane version of the 767 is well below par.
The $6 million version is "alright". :)
Maybe one day I'll video it....when I'm allowed.

@pictgroove4 "Back on the Kwak"!! I love it! I wish I'd thought of that for the title.
Yeah it's a shame that some people have a life so sad that they need that stuff to do the things you mentioned. I agree with your rant. Stay safe.

BB on a bike?... Alright!
Glad your shoulder is improving enough to ride again.
We have quite a cars cars with "broken" turn indicators here too! Must be a lot of defective "parts" ;)
Thanks for the video. Looking forward to more!
