If you look back to the game against tulane with alabama Andre smith was injured in that game. If it hadn't have been for Javier Arenas we would have lost to Tulane. Then look at the rest of the season with Andre. It just go's to show that he meant more for the team than any other player. And that we would have killed Utah with him in it.
i think what hurt against utah is that we lost him like 2 days before the game, and had to change that quick. and instead of just replacing him, we moved everyone around to a new position.

The point of that statement was simply this: it was NOT a start-to-finish, 60-minute blowout - as had been suggested earlier. Alabama played decently in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter - in fact, those three quarters in sum or in any combination (2nd and 4th, 3rd by itself, 3rd and 4th, 2nd by itself, etc, etc) would render a very close contest.

true that mountain west had tcu byu and utah. utah had to beat oregon state, tcu, and byu to get there (not an easy task) this was a great team played a tougher schedule than anyone and bama was by no means and underqualified team, utah beat bama a lot easier than the national champion gators did

If you look back to the game against tulane with alabama Andre smith was injured in that game. If it hadn't have been for Javier Arenas we would have lost to Tulane. Then look at the rest of the season with Andre. It just go's to show that he meant more for the team than any other player. And that we would have killed Utah with him in it.

I usually do enjoy my job. I'm an athletic trainer so it's mostly pretty fun. The players I work with love what they do. I couldn't imagine how great it would be to have school payed for while I played football. I'm sure you would like that too...
