So yeah, those notes didn't really line up the way they were supposed to, but you get the idea. And the time signature is 5/4 not 5/8.

I know this is an old video, but I thought I'd give you a pointer. The beginning polyrhythm is simply a swiss triplet that changes lead hand every five "8th" notes.

Actually, danny has great dynamics. He can go from whisper quiet to bashing in an instant. That requires much greater skill than beating the mess out of everything. This guy here is technically very impressive, but probably isn't nearly as familiar with the material as danny is, and so wouldn't play as hard. It takes familiarity to play harder and stay smooth.

No offence, but I dont think ur playing the intro correctly, your way of working the toms seems to be like a kinda tom roll movement/fill. The kick durm is used a lot more int he first 16 bars than you seem to be using. Like others have said, turnt he trak DOWN, you cant hear your drumming at all apart from it being ever so slightly int he background, please play this by itself without the music and upload it, or with the music severely int he background.
