Well to be honest with you I think the new DMC looks rather good, the gameplay looks smooth and the fighting mechanics haven't really been tampered with. I really couldn't give a fuck about what he looks like, It's a different take on the franchise from what I've heard and the series was getting stale. But DMC still isn't Devil May Cry 5, It's just like a different universe in the franchise or what have you..

I agree. Yet DMC4 has a lot bigger problems as well. The overall atmosphere, story and dialogue is just messed up. There's absolutely nothing that could be taken seriously. It's all a huge joke.

I miss the atmosphere of DMC1. Those dark and creepy hallways, full of deformed monsters. And the more intelligent, yet still cool Dante. They have to make a sequel that's true to the DMC legacy.
